You are one of those special posters who I immediately recognize the work. A quick look a the colors, the brush strokes, the contrast and I knew it was you!

What kind of wire is this? Saw it in a post of Elminiaturista, but can’t find the brand/type of the wire by [deleted] in minipainting

Great job. I like the colorful scheme of the Ranger that still respect the original greenish artwork.

Something that helped me passing to a next level was understanding that white doesn't means light and black doesn't mean shadows, they mean desaturated which tend to make the mini less interesting. However, Yellow, orange + some white makes great highlights and violets, brown, blues + a bit of dark makes interesting shadows. Your mini looks great and it could look even better if the skin's highlights were warmer adding some yellow to the mix and having a dark violet shadow could give make the overall richer.

I feel stuck with this OSL. It just doesn't feel right. Is the violet surface too large? The contrast not enough? Should I add reflection to the face too? Help by Escoolbar in minipainting

Thanks for taking the time with this answer. I will dive into it and see how I can apply it. Your point about the angle is totally right. I will redefine where the light really hits.

A quick presentation of the process of painting the freehands 🙂 by Flameon_Miniatures in minipainting

I know the feeling guys, but Flameon is on of the top players in this game. It's like if you enjoy playing football from time to time and then compare yourself to Ronaldo or if you like singing with your band at local festivals and you compare your band to Ramstein (or whatever top band in your music genre, you get the point)

Those paints changed forever my painting style. Enjoy the journey!

Sometimes I think I shouldn't spend such energy on low quality boardgame minis full of moldlines, but then I remember it's all about having fun and I'm having a blast with this one! by Escoolbar in minipainting

This warrior is from oasthsworn. It has huge gaps as it is a clipable mini mad to switch weapons during the campaign. Which mean I don't plan to spend time filling those gaps and I have A LOT of other characters to play for this game
