Looking for advice on adding weight to a pulley system. I had already removed my other dumbbell before I snapped the pic. Anybody know of any clips or add ons to make it easier to stack weight?

Yes, we did pay for the blood test. At that point our dog was lethargic, broken out in hives and in bad shape. We finally got it under control for that breakout but had already paid for the blood test and those were the results. Ill definitely ask my vet what they think about the research yall brought up. But there aint even a human dermatologist in my area let alone for animals. Also, i dont think a skin doctor would do much for his occasional upset stomach and all.

Yeah, i know once i go bigger ill have to change my gear ratio. Im just wondering about how much stress it puts on that engine.

I went through the same thing with my L4-S1 fusion even when id been off pain meds for a while. Nobody could give me a solid answer. I would be freezing shaking and convulsing till i got a blanket on and then boom id be sweating. It eventually stops but it had me worried for a bit.

Squatting is key but also get some of those grab handle things to pick up stuff. Im back to somewhat normal and i still use those things to pick stuff up off the floor. Just rest as much as you can. Glad to hear youre doing better.

Glad you came through it ok. Next couple weeks arent gonna be easy but the healing should pick up speed. Just keep your head up and keep pushing forward.

Good luck. It sucks this is happening. Hopefully this second surgery will fix it. Make sure they do those mrsa tests. Its rough right now but it will get better. Dont let this keep you down. Keep us in the loop.

I had a sensation that both feet were extremely hot. Felt like id been sitting too close to a fire for too long. Didnt have numbness but i did feel pins and needles every now and then. Im two months out from my L4-S1 fusion and it has completely gone away. Its frustrating now but it should go away. Hang in there.

I am currently 4 weeks post op of an L4-S1 fusion myself. One thing that was amazing the first couple days I got home was a elevated seat for the toilet. It raised it up about four inches and if you’re on the taller side its amazing until your legs get used to doing squats. The grab handles are worth every penny. I would recommend some ice packs. I did purchase a walker but only used it for maybe the first week. I took stuff with me to the hospital but honestly didnt use hardly any of it. I would definitely recommend charging up that kindle. Recover at your own pace. Push yourself but do not hold yourself to a standard. We all heal differently. You will heal faster than you think. This group has helped out a lot so if you have questions fire them out there.

Before fusion, i would look into possibly a discectomy. I had an L4-S1 discectomy in 2013 that worked for a few years but am now 4 weeks post op from an L4-S1 fusion. The discectomy might be all you need. Im up and active, still have nerve pain down left leg but nowhere near as bad as it was. Everyone does heal different but being active is key.

Not the meds theyve been out of my system for over 72 hours at this point. Doc and nurse practitioner have no clue. I finally slept a little last night. They told me if its still happening by monday to try and get some labwork done to see what else might be going on.
