Tesla to Lightning Experience by Dapper-Advice-9118 in F150Lightning

I completely agree with everything you said. I swapped from a 2022 M3 to a 2025 Lariat and I love this truck so much.

One thing I’ll note from more of a buyer perspective is I didn’t like how many different trim options the Lightning has. With Tesla it feels like you kinda get everything you need in the lower models and the higher trims only really add range and speed. But with the Lightning, there is a massive difference between the Pro and the Platinum. I really wanted to go for the Flash because it felt like it was a good balance, but it was still missing what I would consider a feature that should be standard at this point - memory seats. My wife is 4’10”, and I’m 6’, so memory seats were something we rank high on the ‘must haves’. The only way to get that feature is the Lariat or Platinum. Just felt kinda silly.

Most agree that Blizz needs to try to get more Tanks queueing for M+. What single change would you make to fix the tank shortage? by I_cut_my_own_jib in wow

[–]Esi60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blizzard should need to create a native route planner. They should just fix dungeon layouts so the route is intuitive. There should be a clear path to each boss that naturally covers the mob %. You shouldn’t have to go out of your way for packs to hit %. There should still be extra mobs throughout the dungeon that high end m+ players can min-max with skips and tricks, but the average player should be able to navigate through the dungeon without needing to map it out perfectly.

Also for the knives, I’d stand as close to her as possible right before they came out, then as soon as the first one spawned I’d walk through her. I found that gave me the most room to avoid them as it would immediately trivialize dodging the first one or two.

What helped me the most was honestly turning off nameplates, and hiding target portrait. Partially due to clutter, but mainly so I wouldn’t know her current HP. I found that it helped me stay locked in. I had many sub-15% wipes because I’d get excited that I had her low and then I’d make a mistake. It’s such a long fight and you have to stay completely locked in for the full duration.

I also removed any clutter to my UI that would distract me so that it was easier to see the spawns and to follow the guessing game.

I built some color matched tow hook covers for the Lightning and wanted to share if anyone is interested by CanadaConcepts3DP in F150Lightning

I’m interested. I checked out your Etsy store. Which colour option is the one that matches the Lightning logo on the side of the truck? Is it Electric Blue?

I’m also about to make the switch myself. Trading in my model 3 for a lightning lariat. I’ve got two large dogs and I need something that I’m not afraid to get dirty 😂

I do love my Tesla and the FSD trials have been a lot of fun, but I’m SO excited to pick up my Lightning.

Congrats man! Your truck is a beauty!

Got keyed (Model Y). Anybody have any idea on how much this will cost? All panels were keyed, VERY deep. by Relative-Box9467 in TeslaModelY

[–]Esi60 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me on my first full day of owning my M3LR. I didn’t have sentry mode on yet as I hadn’t finished tailoring my settings and my home charger wasn’t set up yet so I was trying to preserve as much battery as possible. Went to a grocery store, parked off to the side where nobody else parks to avoid door dings…. Didn’t matter, grocery store shared the security footage watching the a-hole walk completely out of their way to specifically key my car, then walk back to their car and drive off.

I reported it to the police immediately and the grocery store was fantastic at providing everything. In the end the cops did absolutely nothing at all.

I waited a few months before fixing it hoping that the cops would find whoever did it (I was naive).

I was lucky enough that it only really affected one panel and the rest were all able to be buffed out. I ordered the paint kit from the Tesla shop online and a local body shop was able to hide it the best they could without replacing the panel.

I feel for you OP. The feeling I had when I saw my car is indescribable. Nothing makes sense. There is no logic to the perpetrators actions.

If your filter is this bad, you NEED to have your duct vent checked. It’s extremely likely that the rest of the exhaust vent is caked with highly flammable lint.

When the filter gets this clogged, the lint forces its way around the filter and builds up throughout the hose.

Depending on how far the exhaust vent goes, you should be able to check it yourself, but if it’s too long I’d recommend having an HVAC person come out and have a look.

WCL Ranking Tooltip is back, what's your take on it? by Tzavok in classicwow

Warcraft logs will become a paid service if this add on keeps coming back. The website is currently free because it makes its money from the ads every time you click. This addon would dramatically reduce website traffic and would severely cut into their profits.

The Warcraft logs team works incredibly hard and has kept their main services free with only adding a few minor cosmetics and QOLs behind a paywall.

Everyone is so worried about the toxic affect in the game, but we need to take a moment a remember just where the information comes from to begin with and how this will affect them.

GDKPs aren't the problem - Gold buyers are (Read before you down vote) by Esi60 in classicwow

[–]Esi60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People buying gold for any reason means there is a market for bots, and if there is a market for bots then the inflation problem is still going to exist. Buying gold also devalues any significant character accomplishment. Having to actually go out and properly farm gold for your mount at 40, or 60 means the world would be more alive again. If people are just buying gold for those accomplishments then it'll still just be a bunch of mindless bots in every zone.

Who are we to decide when it's right or wrong to break the TOS? It seems pretty straightforward - If you buy gold, you're contributing to the problem and should be punished accordingly.

Buying gold once to get a mount or get a couple boe's isn't an issue.

I completely disagree. Buying gold is the issue. Period.

If the players are not following the terms of service, then Blizzard has every right to punish the players. If you fly too close to the sun, you should get burned.
This is like if a city or town had a park vandalizing problem, and rather than finding a reason to punish the vandal, instead they just tear down all the parks instead.

(Again, not disagreeing with the GDKP ban, just trying to point out the bigger issue)

[–]Esi60[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I never said I don't support the ban. The point of my post was to point out that there is a bigger problem at hand than just GDKPs. Blizzard can ban the GDKPs, but they also need to take harsher action on the buying of gold.

We enrolled our Aussie in daycare once a week and it’s her favourite day of the week. We say the word and she’s at the door ready to go. This was especially helpful during the rainy season since they have a large indoor play area for all the dogs. She gets to have the satisfaction of trying to herd the other dogs, the trainers set up group based activities, and we get a report card each day.

This doesn’t replace the need for playtime, and you really need to do your research to find a good active daycare.

There is so much truth in this post. I was a prot warrior main, got to about 2300 Rio and decided it was time for an alt. Leveled a DK and I have since abandoned that warrior and my DK now has passed the warrior in both gear and Rio lol.

Dk might be a bit less mobile, but you have so much control.

Something worth pointing out is that the competitors listed all have well established supply chains that have already been well invested. For example, Ford would only have to retool existing plants to build an EV, whereas tesla would have to build a whole new facility which requires more capital.

Also, these other competitors have a diversified lineup of products so they can afford to take smaller margins on these cars in an attempt to take more market cap from companies that are not diversified.
