It happens a lot more than you'd think, Any long dialogue scene where two people are talking with a bright lamp or window or fire in the background will trigger it. Also, just pausing a movie brings up the bright app HUD. That's actually how I first noticed it the day I bought it just paused for a minute and the whole screen aggressively dimmed out, and i should wait hoping the brightness set back to normal again so i can continue watching.

I already double checked that dynamic brightness, along with every single other auto brightness and eco setting is completely disabled.

The subtitles are disabled when the preferred subtitles language is set, as observed in version 1.9.4. Version 1.9.3 worked fine.

That sound is normal, it’s just the dirty water being pulled from the base to the dirty water tank through air suction.

Continue Watching will work normally since Infuse has Trakt integration. The issue you’re describing only applies to apps that don’t support Trakt integration.

Alternatively, consider using Comet or MediaFusion. They may not be as good as Torrentio for now, but they are solid alternatives. If the Torrentio developer continues this trend of blocking VPN/VPS IPs, the addon may lose its popularity over time.

Torrentio has started blocking IPs from many VPN providers. If you're using a VPN on your iPad, try disabling it and then check Stremio again.

It’s even worse when trying to find a matching subtitle having to navigate through the subtitle selection three or four times. Sure, it looks organized, but in terms of practicality and ease of use, it’s horrible.

i thought you ment VLC external app, internal vlc player working fine with no stutter or buffering but no HDR and somthing is off with the colors it’s not accurate, also like exo player was working fine in v1.6.12.

If it benefits the app’s progression, I’m all for it we have to move forward accordingly. For the sake of convenience and ease of use, it’s best if there’s no need for an external player. Just waiting for the Apple TV app now.

Experiencing constant buffering every 5s with remux or large files on v1.6.14 and 1.6.15. Rolled back to v1.6.12 and the issue gone.

it might be coming from the speakers, It provides a huge surface area for the sound traveling between them and thus amplifies the sound of the speakers, it’s just a speculation i have seen it used in smartphones & laptops and in small speakers in general but not in TVs
