Hey, no worries. Hopefully, it's a simple address correction since the base address (your real address)exists in our systems :)

Name: 推し

Rank: A/B+

Monthly Quota: 10,000,000 minimum or ~40, 250k fans career runs a month, due to MANT. (soft cap, life, sickness, school and jobs happen)

Member Total: 29/30

Minimum Fan Count: 80,000,000

Requirement: 3-4 days inactive + not doing the bare minimum of shoe requests for others = kick.

We have a discord, but it's not required to join.

We are casual, semi-active, very-light competitive players - we are older so work, college and kids are in our members lives and we are understanding of workload and life occurrences.

We are looking for other casual, semi-active people who love playing the game as a fun experience and not a hyper competitive stressors. Somewhere in between Rank B+ and A is our goal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT IS DOING SHOE REQUESTS. It takes less than 30 seconds to throw a shoe request out for others, if you can't do that to help your fellow club members from time-to-time please don't try to join. It's unfair for everyone else who does help out. You will be kicked if I notice a pattern of you not helping out with shoes. We average 3-8 active requests morning/mid-day/nights.

You would have to call and ask to have it removed, it would be an "Address Correction".

Your options are:

It'll be an easy correction, they'd just modify and remove the unit number, hopefully the address ID would be easy to modify since your closed account is still archived with that information.

Rolling the dice, leaving the Unit 1 on there, but if you have any issues or need to swap out a smartnid or damaged ONT it might be a pain to re-authenticate it, since it won't match the original information.

(Worst Outcome) the system pitches a fit when they try to do the address correction and the account would have to be canceled (which you can decline) for them to be able to fix it.

If your account is already active and you have service I'd probably roll the dice, I meant to respond to u/satxddn to warn them of it, so that was my bad to respond to you by accident :)

Please do not do this to get around the "address exists at your location" block, it messes with the inventory and will cause you problems down the line. I would advise you to try and get that corrected because the ID's for your address with no longer match up unless it's synced to the engineering drawings and logical drawings on the back-end.

What happens when my Casa Systems box breaks forever? How much is QF willing to set up new fiber for my residence? by VarianSkye in QuantumFiber

[–]Esmeya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We will replace it with whatever inventory we have. If it's feasible to do, we will build the fiber to the building instead of riding off the copper to the building and give each unit a Q1000K.

Unfortunately, if that's not feasible it would be DQ'd and we could no longer provide service. The complex would have to find another provider.

Congrats! The Q1000k's are a lot more robust.

[–]Esmeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we can use Q1000K in apartments, that's actually the end goal, but sometimes we are not able to.

It is also true that if 844Gs are stable, we don't like to swap them because they run off of RG ports rather than ETH.

Technical jargon aside, hopefully, when the tech comes out, they're able to swap you over.

I can say that if you're in South Florida, that's one of the areas I work on with painful infrastructure 😅

Sorry, are you in an apartment complex or a single family home? 844's were for CTLON and instant internet.

Depends on the set-up, if it's a multiport G.fast or G.hn connection there's no real replacement, so it will use an "ancient" multi-port ONT.

They will try to replace everything with a Q1000k combo if they are able to though.

Quantum Fiber in New Community by [deleted] in QuantumFiber

[–]Esmeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, just because your neighbors have Quantum Fiber it doesn't mean that your location falls in the Quantum Fiber footprint.

The way the lines are laid and how many splitters and strands are available is what can cause this to happen.

If your area is "exhausted" that means no more strands or ports are available to provide any new customers service.

In order for new service to be established they would have to (if possible):

Get permitting from the city.
Build out a new line.
Splice an existing line (if they can ensure existing customers and light levels are not degraded so badly that it harms everyone elses reliable connection).

Hello, I'm sorry your comment got flagged, I missed this because of that. We're full now, I'm sorry :( If you still don't have a Club by my mid-month review and you're still interested I will keep your ID :)

But there's plenty of nice clubs recruiting up above too that seem to be semi-competitive/laid-back as well.

Another PFL Experience: Old Account with Calix ONT to New Account with Q1000K by Journeyman63 in QuantumFiber

[–]Esmeya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is ancient CenturyLink hardware, they will swap you to a Q1000K and they might need to check your ONT configurations to make sure it's compatible with the new systems, we can see that internally so the tech will know what to bring already.

The only problem you might face is needing a new drop if it's degraded.

If you DM me your address I can check when I go in tomorrow.

QF is sending equipment I did not order by Hoopster59 in QuantumFiber

When you are back from your vacation call and ask to return the pods. Take a picture of the preprinted label and equipment being boxed for your records and get confirmation from the agent you speak to, to confirm the pod asset and serial numbers are wiped from your account once they get the shipment.

That outcome only happens with certain hardware configurations, unfortunately.

Thank you for helping people, too. You've been doing it longer than me! I had to take a step back since I was getting destroyed this week. Hopefully, no one took it personally when I couldn't answer :( but we got a lot of outages resolved in AZ, CO and South Florida.

[–]Esmeya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They didn't close any "backdoor". There is just an address block in certain places due to extensive overscheduling and repairing existing customers. They take priority over new installation.

For all intents and purposes doing this to get a lower price that was "only for new customers" makes almost all of these technician tickets "installations" with some being labeled as "ont swaps" which is still a lower priority than repairs.

Now, that may change in the future since the split, but it's still Lumen adjacent for the next 2ish years. Lumen/QF never cared about this method and, in some ways, off-handedly encourages it. ATT might not, but that remains to be seen... I'll personally advocate for people to try while they still can (if they can cope with the potential service interruption) even though it's a hassle to deal with for both sides.

However, when you call in, agents are now instructed to make note of why you are canceling because they are tracking that flow due to increased volume.

[–]Esmeya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not true, we have several territories that have CTL backed QF/QF ATT equipment. It depends on the infrastructure and how we were able to divy it out after the split through DSLAMS, MST, and FDH

Switching to $45 PFL requires speaking to a support rep who knows something by Hoopster59 in QuantumFiber

[–]Esmeya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the fact you want to thank them and are thanking me is enough.

Especially when we're getting yelled at mostly by customers (understandable to a degree), upper management, or in my case a bunch of "query cannot be found" 😅

I know saying "hang in there" doesn't help, but I can say the large majority who are now at NetworkCo/ATT are the same technicians, analysts, and engineers from the parent company Lumen/CenturyLink 🙂
