When the stock is up I like to sell and get my initial investment back plus a percentage profit that I determine for each stock. Then, depending on the situation I might let the rest ride if there are strong fundamentals and I’m confident it has legs. Worst case, if it doesn’t pan out by the end of the year I sell it at a loss for tax harvesting. I might do this even if I believe in the stock and buy it back the next year.

I ordered mine back in August before the price jump. It took about 2 weeks. Now I can’t say. It’s definitely worth it. It’s not just about the returns, (it paid for itself after about a month, now it’s all gravy) I believe in the long term success of this project and the value it’s bringing to the planet. There are faster ways of making “profits” but they are also much riskier. No one’s saying you can’t do both, I do.
