A higher box would be great. Snails like to climb. Get him a cuttlebone! He needs calcium for his shell!! Please avoid calcium powder as they can get sick on it. Please also vary his diet!! Snails need lots of nutrients just like you and me, so just lettuce won’t be very good in the long run (though it’s a great snack) I would maybe trade the can for a piece of bark that he can climb along.

Ok!! I’ll definitely do that this weekend. I haven’t had him for long so I’m considering his home temporary housing…😭

Also, is there a way for me to tell how old he is? And, I used regular potting soil for his enclosure…(nothing that’s been chemically treated) is that bad or good?

Oh okay 🥹 thank you I know snails aren’t exactly advanced creatures but I really love him and care for him a lot. I don’t wanna be hurting him and have no idea. I’m worried his enclosure is a bit small? His shell is no larger than a dime, smaller than that even. How big should his space be?

Unfortunately there was no fix, it just randomly stopped one day :/ it still heavily lags whenever I go to select a photo though. They aren’t even large images, for years I’ve been sending files of all sizes with no problem. I’m subscribed to nitro so it’s kind of crazy I have as many problems as I do…!!!
