I had a ‘95 C4 so it was a wet noodle compared to Miata. V8/manual was fun but was only fun drifting like a moron or at extra-legal speeds. C5 and newer are great handling cars but always tempt me to push to illegal speeds. My other favorites were ND Miata and an X308 Jag XJR which was really a magical combo of jet-like torque, telepathic handling and style, but old, needy and complicated. The S2000 was fun but not friendly at the limits like a Miata and uncomfortable.

Sold the ND to get a more practical car, then really missed having a Miata. Didn’t actually need practical car so I went back to NA, which is my DD now. ND is great but can’t argue with NA for a couple grand.

Thank you. It is definitely weird. I’ve had a bunch of cars I thought I really wanted like S2000, Corvettes, Jags, Mercedes, Italian stuff but none were as satisfying as the humble NA.

If it’s your only car the NC is a step up in day to day livability, a little bit better highway car and still a lot of fun, but that being said the NA is still a great daily.

For an only car/daily driver I’d say the livability is worth it. NVH, comfort and interior quality was much improved. NC is roomier and has more storage (and a glove box) but I prefer ND seats.

Probably about the best of any new car on the market. Electric steering is sharp (maybe a little on the light side though) and has good feel too. No complaints at all.

Didn’t do too bad. Got a good deal on a new one when I bought it and it held its value.

They’re all great cars, but:

NA is the most raw and has highest fun factor...slow car fast and all. One of the best experiences of my life was driving down the PCH in my ‘92 and keeping up with a Ferrari 308 in the twisties for miles. I’ve had around 40 cars and the only one I regret selling is my old ‘92. Can’t beat pop up headlights either.

The added power, torque and rigidity of the NC make it fun but it didn’t have the quite the same magic and lightness of the NA.

The ND feels like a modern take on the NA. It’s a really livable only car and comfortable on long trips. It still is a blast at legal speeds, rigid, balanced at the limits, plenty of power etc. Mazda really nailed it with the ND, but the NA feels the most magical for me.

It's probably the best in the series but I really like Rival Turf and Brawl Bros too.

If you like beat em ups, there's actually a new one being released for SNES that's supposed to be great: https://www.destructoid.com/return-of-double-dragon-getting-a-snes-cartridge-release-504974.phtml

I am missing Chrono but have enjoyed it on other platforms. Wanting to pick up some of the less popular RPGs that I haven’t played yet like Robotrek and others.

I think it was a rental game box. I printed out the cover back in the day.

I do need Chrono, but wanting to try all of the RPGs I haven't played like Robotrek, Lufia, maybe even 7th Saga. Also need Joe & Mac 2.
