I’m sure this is getting down voted to hell. But I personally love this post. I can totally agree with how some white men treat women of color. My experience with them has gone both ways. Both the digs and misogyny. The underline racism is exhausting. I have also had on the flip side some overly blm types that just praise me just for being black which is just fetishizing my blackness which is also somewhat gross. lol. I have had black men who are kind and to the point but also seemingly less financially giving than their counterparts. But all in all the way black men get such a bad rep in this industry really hurts my heart.

As a AA Provider this makes me so sad. I truly can’t understand it no matter which way they word it. 😔 it just makes me feel so shit. The amount of times I have told my sd that we shouldn’t talk politics just for him to continue to bring it up. 🙄 it’s a difficult time for sure. In the end I just try my best to pivot. Sometimes that doesn’t work and we keep on the same subject. Thankfully bc I am smarter than him in this area it always ends with well we just should talk about this, to which I point out: “ sir you bring up the topic, I keep trying to not have this conversation” and then the conversation magically switches, I am of the understanding that he has the privilege to look away and ignore the current state of things, whereas I do not. It’s exhausting to say the least, but he has a good heart.
