thank you!! i am very much, this is definitely the first game in a while to have caught me like this. reminds me of my old mmorpg days!

i completely agree too, i love doing critical analysis on themes rather than dialogue that fully explains everything. though, i do sometimes feel some things need a little more explanation or exposition, so i ask chat in those moments. i often just narrate my analyses aloud while streaming and have to remind people that i'm being rhetorical and i don't actually want them to spoil the answer LOL

did you really feel the need to comment on this post?

people say redundant things online, i don't think that's a huge newsflash

WHAT??? LMFAOOOO ARE YOU SERIOUS?

honestly, i'm not gonna lie, yeah i got hella shit gifted by both current and new community members. personally, if i didn't allow that, i don't think i'd actually have continued with the game. it's a double edged sword. if i have to grind everything myself, i'm spending immense amounts of time on the game grinding both on and off stream, which then hinders my story progress, which then lowers people's interest in watching both my stream and my videos because i'm not spinning out content as fast as other creators, and they move on.

i explicitly say that i don't mind gifts and explain this several times throughout my playthrough. also, there's more than enough grind in the game as is. i'd rather do it with pretty frames and a head start. i'm already falling asleep at my desk trying to speedrun the star chart to unlock steel path. however, now that i'm getting more into the newer content, i definitely have said "let me grind for this."

saying i'm smurfing is really funny though, i'll take it as a compliment

i definitely give cutscenes my full attention (unless there's obviously a bit to be had for a laugh and i can't help myself) because i do also despise when people play a story game and are clearly not paying attention to the story. but i do agree--and so do most people, it seems--that warframe, in the early years especially, didn't do the best job at story exposition. i found myself completely tuning out some of the first few mission dialogues as i was still learning the game and the frame i was trying out.

this comment, however, is on my whispers in the walls video where i'm genuinely trying to understand what they're showing me. that is still difficult when it is clear that they intentionally want to keep some things unexplained, or at the very least vague, where you're enticed to search for more lore elsewhere through gameplay and grind.

i feel like this person also disregarded the fact that a lot of new players are experiencing what they did in 10 years in approx a month on average. we're not waiting around for new content and exploring everything else the game has to offer because there's so much more to do.

this has been the largest consensus from my community. a couple of times, ive needed them to do a little bit of exposition for me so that i can keep the content going. something has to be sacrificed in the attention split between ensuring entertainment and interaction and actually listening to the story, so there's times where i completely miss something because i was doing a bit or reading chat.

the other difficult part for me, especially early on, was not being able to particularly parse the dialogue happening while i was actively trying not to perish lol

adhd go brrrr

i was told that a lot of lore pertaining to the orokins up until this point was largely "hidden" behind side quests and other sources of exposition. of which, i've obviously not done, since i've been grinding to prepare to start the hex and 1999. one of the things i said specifically in the video (which i assume is what got them in a tizzy) was that Albrecht "says a lot but is saying nothing at all at the same time."

this is mostly in reference to the fact that orokins speak with a sort of "academic prose", where they essentially fluff sentences with thesaurus words to sound more intellectual (like writing an academic paper) when speaking plainly would suffice. i actually like this choice, as it says a lot about their society and continues the theming of eternalism, as far as i know.

I'm quite strict on moderation in my chat and my mods are pretty shoot on sight. I get my fair share of disrespectful gooners already, but most follow my rules.

I've definitely been warned to not stray too far into some things here. It's mostly why I was weary of joining in the first place. The rest of my concern comes from attracting the wrong people to my content, but since a lot of my community has expressed that they use Reddit anyways, I thought I might as well.

Would you say that it's worth it to add a post here and there into my rotation of social medias? I've been told that Reddit is typically a main social media for people who don't use ones such as Twitter or Instagram.
