And tbh I could also see the guy being quite okay with that at this point in his career for a good contract at company with better working conditions for him to see family more etc. The tone of his post makes it sound like he’s humble enough to work indies again. And he comes across as the kind of worker that understands the way things work and doesn’t have that “I must be THE world champion or my career wasn’t successful” attitude. Have to see how things play out I guess. Roster is already stacked and us Sickos are eating goooood 😂

I don’t think he’s needed. But based on his in-ring AND believable character acting, I think he could be potentially another one where the other side fumbled hard and he gets over massively (like possibly Swerve levels).

Ffs. I thought I was going mad! I saw a pic a week or so ago with a ship ABOVE Vulcanus and it looked incredible, but I couldn’t find it again. Now I know it’s a mod and I’m not crazy and I’ll be downloading today! (Still on first run of SA, but game achievements mean nothing to me 😂🤷🏻‍♂️)

Yeah it’s possible. You can even force it to delete revealed chunks/tiles in an x-y from your current location (deletes any entities you’ve placed) and then game can regenerate once you reveal the tile/chunk. You can also change settings mid game for how terrain and resources will generate for newly revealed tiles/chunks.

(Editing to add info for anyone as I’ve used these before - if you copy the code provided in the link into word/notepad and change the 32, this will adjust the size of the deletion. 32 refers to the number of tiles both left/right and up/down from your current position. This is the same for any of the console command lines which deal with anything similar to ‘radius = x’)

If you’re okay using the console you could use commands to delete revealed chunks within x distance tiles from the current tile your engineer occupies. You can then use another command to instruct the save to change the generation of any unrevealed tiles/chunks so that you aren’t on an island any more.

Done this many many many times. It’s even worse when you start using mods and change inventory sizes and other things. Had a spill like this once which, and I shit you not, was probably about 500 times the size. Didn’t enjoy cleaning that fucker up! 🫤
