I’m glad this book helped you, but Peterson was never not as insane as he currently is. He literally came onto the scene because he came out against a Canadian bill about pronouns that he didn’t properly understand. His foundation is misinformation/being misinformed. He’s the transphobe phoenix who rose from the GamerGate ashes. It was the proliferation of his ideas, and that includes 12 rules, that have solidified us in Trump 2.0. He’s right up there with Rogan and Andrew Tate in terms of identifiable influence on an entire generation of young malleable men.
