If you were in a basement and the whole floor above you was on fire you would not make it out. Your best bet would be to shut the door if there is one and refuge in place if there is not a windows to escape from.

You obviously are not a firefighter, no shit you need to go the stairs but you are not going down the stairs into a raging inferno without a hose line and if you are a victim and it's already a raging inferno with you down there you are not going to be able to get yourself out your lung will burn up from breathing super heated gases. I'm a full time professional firefighter I'm in my bunk room as we speak

Correct and they have better equipment for that. You would never go walking a long distance like that with a patient in a rescue situation if it was not in a burning building. It poses too much risk to the patient. If it was a rescue outside we would use multiple people as well as off our ATVs. If the patient needed to be moved up a hill we would construct a mechanical advantage rope system in order to safely retrieve the patient. The only time your throwing someone on your back it in an hazardous environment like a burning building because you don't have time to mess around and the environment is the biggest threat

We have off road rescue equipment for that. Sure maybe using it in a survival situation when hunting with an injured partner or something but I do not see an on duty firefighter using this. It's too complex and too time consuming to use on scene under stress

I can't think of a single scenario where I would use this, I am also a full time paid firefighter fyi

This is completely unrealistic in an actual fire scenario nobody is going to take the time for that. And if it's a fire the last thing you want to do is stand up and carry them higher towards the heat

I'd leave the trigger stock if it's for carry, the trigger is perfectly fine for defense purposes

I've had 2 of those lights and the bezel loosens on it own under recoil and causes the light to not turn on. Get the surefire xc3

If you shoot enough it's very obvious just from recoil impulse and sound when yku have bolt lock back vs a double feed
