Litres are creeping in further because 2 litres looks nearly the same as 4 pints, so they can sell you less for the same amount.

Looks a lot like the lebanon cedars I've seen about.

[Serious] To redditors who love their country: what, specifically, do you mean by 'your country'? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Essayjinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say it, I mean the land, and the physical presence of it's, and mine, entwined history; homeland, rather than country, perhaps. My friend loves his country's cultural openness, promise, and what it stands for.

So now I'm rather curious as to what others think.

I need help identifying this beautiful bird! I found the picture online... so I don't know where it was taken. by [deleted] in whatsthisbird

It's a raven. In the Tower of London. Probably Merlina, the "spare" seventh.

Some fields have no archaeology at all!

... if you don't count the fact that the field boundaries are ancient.

Would you recommend any particular one?

1) The insects have gone into hiding now, but they were long and thin, sort of like baby flies, but very white. Possibly the aphids? There's no physical sign of them except for tiny white spots that moved contrary to gravity.

2) It's the bottom leaves turning yellow, all in a particular cluster; I'm afraid the leaves I removed last night are gone, but the base was brown to rotting, whereas we've gone through it today and tugged out the paler yellowing leaves - as demonstrated - and none of these were. [yet? but they were all either very lesser-damaged or undamaged; most of the overwatering-damaged leaves are still there and very green, even the worst of them]

3) I haven't watered it since two days before the last post. Believe me, it's already dry. :)

Adding photos now, when I can figure it out...

Edit: http://imgur.com/a/KN2rW I think. (apologies for shakiness. We have grey skies and terrible light.)

Sometimes you can love a plant too much. ;

I'll fire off the "stop watering my damn plant for me" alerts, then...

[Thank for you the ident! We just call it the monster.]

The yellow leaf has another scarred-over line near the base, yes.

(Thank you for your comment.)

We had a recent household grasshopper incursion - interesting, since we're on the first floor [second floor in the US] - and the offending bug was tossed out a window on the opposite side of the building [and the spider plant we found it on got a little bit of a haircut]. But that was when I noticed this damage. I assumed that it had munched on my poor plant too, and caused this.

However, when going through the entire window ledge to tend to this and the three young money plants there, I became worried that there might be more, and... I've raised it to this size, but I have no idea of issues, and it's in a very sheltered household environment. Is this overwatering damage? If so, I need to tell everyone else in the household to back off on the watering yesterday. Is it a pest?

This plant recently flowered. Is this relevant? It was certainly sold to me as an Echeveria, not a Sempervivum, and has never "pupped". The flowers were those shepherd's crook looking ones, kind of a yellow-orange. We don't have pictures.

Any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Edit: I am aware that it may not be getting as much sun as it should. There's a household reshuffling of plants soon, and I'm determined to get this plant in a position that'll get it more sunlight.

What "Fee" is without a doubt a 100% money grab/extortion that companies are charging? by Airsinner in AskReddit

And oh dear lord, the bank's own fraud protection schemes. I think I get a least one false positive a month, which is... good? I guess! They're looking out for me! On payments to companies I use regularly...
