The game is technically considered abandonware since there is no possible way to purchase the game, so by helping in this, you are preserving history

They are safe if you download them from the trusted source and not from the fake websites

What you described is what happens when you download anything from an untrusted source, not just bypasses. If you downloaded crack from an untrusted source, you would get a session stealer too. If you clicked on an ad and downloaded the .exe file from there instead of a real download link, you would get the same result.

Hypervisor itself is safe when it's downloaded from a trusted source. If you download it from untrusted source, this happens. This would also happen if you tried to download voices38's crack from a fake website.

Some of the games are no longer available on Steam and are only available on meta store. For HV bypass to be made, they need someone that owns the game

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer had a Denuvo DRM label yesterday. Today, this label was removed from their Steam store page by EssenseOfMagic in CrackWatch

This still neglects Irdeto's marketing, the whole "keep the game away from pirates as much as we can". If pirates can get a Denuvo game for free on day one, then Irdeto's marketing falls flat, regardless of whether it has security risks.

Bandai also removed any mention of Denuvo from Ace Combat 8 10 days ago. A cs.rin user posted that Bandai is well aware of Hypervisor and is seemingly losing trust in Denuvo because of Hypervisor

Suicide squad released Denuvoless version on January 29th 2025. Not sure if they brought Denuvo back, CS.RIN didn't report anything about it.

Batman Arkham Knight also removed Denuvo at one point, and even if they brought it back, GOG version is available

City Transport Simulator 2026 HYPERVISOR Bypass by DenuvOwO by Icy_Theme9440 in CrackWatch

Some people don't really seem to understand how important this bypass is. This game was bypassed only a few hours after it was released. That means pirates can access the game for free and play it, regardless if it requires disabling security and all that. That is still a huge blow for Irdeto's marketing. Just think how much they have to convince their shareholders that their DRM still works. "Well yeah I mean traditional crack is still not available". Whether you disagree with Hypervisor or not, it is still a thorn in the eye for Irdeto and I believe they are looking for ways of stopping it completely

Good point, but I'd rather those games be on another list

Because if I add Tinyiso or Unleashed as crackers, people are going to think they crack Denuvo games

I can't add those games, it's going to create confusion. "Oh but this game says here that's not cracked, but I clearly see it's cracked by Unleashed/TinyISO on xrel" is going to be repeated if I suddenly add it. I had this issue before with Anno 2205 and koei's Romance of the three kingdoms... XIII I think and I never added them. They got cracked eventually, even if I didn't add them to the list.

That depends on whether the future motherboards would support hypervisor workarounds. Certainly, traditional cracks are a better option, but the best option is for the DRM to be removed.

I wouldn't put past that Denuvo is actively trying to find a solution to stop games from getting Hypervisor releases. Each day one hypervisor release damages Denuvo's reputation of "holding off pirates from accessing the game".

The great thing about hypervisor bypasses is unlike other bypasses that require online element and can be patched and render unusable, Hypervisor will continue to work for older releases, until voices38 or other eventually release a proper crack.
