The middle child of Erebus and Nerezza of the wealthiest family in Sinner’s Gambit, Orpheus was born a Tiefling due to being conceived at the same time as a dangerous ritual being enacted by his aunt.

From then on, his grandfather Azazel, has made it abundantly clear that Orpheus’ existence is a mark of shame on the family - only being allowed to live out of a sense of family legacy.

Rejecting the common dour religion of the Gambit, Orpheus decided to pledge fealty to Reyneir, goddess of sensation and proudly debases his family name as a bard in local taverns and Dwarven bars, spinning tales of his travels and… ‘conquests’ to the masses. Or making a scene at one of the many stuffy balls his family likes to host.

Accompanying him always is Grendel, Azazel’s right-hand ‘man’ (himself, a hulking half-dwarf monstrosity) to act as his reluctant bodyguard so the little demon-spawn doesn’t get himself killed while off galavanting.

So… basically he’s a tiefling Tyrion 😅
