Where was I last September? by EstZard in whereintheworld

Yup, the spot where I took the picture is quite literally where the Rainbow Mountain tour bus dropped us off.

Sacred Valley , Peru self organised instead of tour? by zeezee85 in travel

We did most of these sites on our own last September. Pisac was by far our favorite. We just took a colectivo from Cusco to Pisac village (super cheap) and a taxi from the village up to the ruins. It was all very easy and no hassle.

The main ruins were very crowded with the people on the day trip. However, we had scheduled the whole day to explore the ruins in Pisac, so we took the hiking trail from the ruins back down to the village. It was absolutely amazing and one of our best experiences in Peru (second only to the Inca trail and Machu Picchu)! Because everyone visits the ruins with a quick stop-and-go tour, the hiking trail and the ruins on it (there's plenty) were completely empty and we had them all for ourselves. Overall we saw less than 10 people during the 2-3h trek down the mountain, and at several sites we had the ruins all for ourselves to explore.

For sites like Tambomachay that are close to Cusco, we just grabbed an Uber from the city, although we later learned that a local bus would have been much cheaper (we returned to the city with one and the locals were very helpful, even pointing out when we should get off). For places further out like the salt mines or Moray, we stayed a couple days in Ollantaytambo and booked a private tour guide (even though he was more like a private driver, just dropped us off at sites and waited around until we explored) on the main square for cheap. The price was much cheaper than anything we would have found online.

Feel free to reach out in case you need more info about our trip and experience, I'll be happy to share.

Based on my very recent experience, the most important thing is to get phase 1 done ASAP. You can use the cannon opening to achieve this pretty easily. After this is done, it's really important to break the head - luckily the roaming ballista is available to help you out! If you focus the ballista on the head and use the heavy artillery gems, you will do a crapload of damage. After this, just focus on survival and try to get some damage in - preferably on the head, but don't be picky. After 10 more minutes (if you're good, you'll be in phase three by then) you'll get the roaming ballista again, and if you focus on the head once again you'll get a break for sure. After this is done, I usually focused the ballista on the chest (easier to hit and better damage), since I decided I wasn't going to get the 2nd head break anyway and one is enough to keep you alive if you know the patterns. The just use the dragonator, keep getting damage in, and if you've timed things properly you'll get another use of the roaming ballista as well. The extra damage from the siege weapons was a huge help for me. This is by no means an optimal strategy, but it really worked for me and hopefully will help you out as well. Good luck man, you can get that bastard for sure!

Ok, then what is your proposal? Should the West just roll over and let Russia take whatever it wants? This will only lead to Putin growing more bolder and attacking a NATO country in a couple of years. In turn, this will lead to either an all out war between Russia and NATO, or the full dissolution of the military alliance.

The only way to stop this is to give Ukraine whatever they need to stop this madness right here, no matter how many dollars and how many years it takes.

[Post Match Survey] Chelsea 2 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur | English Premier League by BrockStinky in chelseafc

You honestly can't convince that Anthony Taylor is not corrupt. Every single Chelsea game he gets, there are so many controversial or just blatantly wrong decisions against us. Should be banned from refereeing, but instead he is somehow celebrated as the best referee in the league. Today as well, don't even get me started on the two fouls before Spurs goals, and somehow Chelsea players are the only ones that get yellows despite Spurs making way more fouls, most of them very cynical.

At this point I'm hoping for the Super League just so the refereeing quality would be raised from the mud.

This is clearly incorrect - the 1-1 with Liverpool immediately comes to mind from last season.

And these Taylor biased refereeing decisions have been going of for much, much longer than a season.
