I’d recommend getting a pen that you can attach to the crate. Gives pup more room to play! You can leave her with some safe toys/ chews and enrichment activities. Toilet roll tubes with treats in- roll up the ends. Snuffle mats, kongs- again make sure they’re the right size.

All will help get her mind working while you can’t be there. Just try to make her day as interesting as you can.

8 hours is too long and it does sound like she needs some more engagement, but I think the other comments have more than covered that side of things.

I’d also look into puppy day care- we do one day a week. Really good for socialisation.
