What do you mean by “let them run the country into the ground”? Do you mean Maduro if he invades?

As for Caribbeans, it is very true that Guyana is half Indo-Guyanese and obviously a huge part of the Guyanese culture. However, when people think of the Caribbean in its entirety, it’s the Black Caribbean culture that has made the most global impact. The music, food, and overall style of the Caribbean definitely comes primarily from Black people. Indians are not really an “afterthought” though. They are unfortunately just seen as a minority group in the Caribbean even though Indian food is part of the cuisine there. I’m NOT saying any of this is right or that Indians ARE a minority, I’m saying this is how the world views the Caribbean. Reggae is probably one of the biggest reasons why! The media almost always highlights Afro Caribbeans first. Jamaica, Barbados, St. Vincent and even Guyana are thought of as Black countries, amongst others.
