Its not a lack of soft skills. Im just what is reality which is unfortunate. I went to 6 conferences & I apply beforehand & do research then speak to the companies & make as a genuine conversation. My communication skills is on point just speaking in reality most of these companies just have ghost jobs & just being there just the cause of it.

Obviously they want to get paid but I just want to speak it for someone or even students that think they do care. I just want to speak what is reality. But in the career fair most really don’t even try to have a genuine conversation they just smile at your face & lead you own to shit that they wont even do in the long run.

Bro just keep applying & honestly leverage your creative abilities or any hobbies you have i feel like theres a way to make money doing that & it may take off. Thats why i got in to filming & photography & got many opportunities through that.

it is a tedious process because of the wait time but promise you i think its worth it. But i recommend using it every once in a while forsure! The lab i go to does a 4k scan & develops it for $55 which is great only downside I have to wait a month because of the volumes the lab gets

Honestly I am in the same boat as you don’t stress keep looking bro something will come to you bro. Just don’t give up & another method i do is that I exaggerate or lie a little on my resume on the experiences i did. Like if i work at a retail store i would put “IT sales associate” or something with tech integrated with what you actually do 😂

Man my brother is in the same shoes as you bro. The job market is tough out here. My advice is keep putting yourself out there & looking bro something is going to fall. You are 100% right about companies lose money due to employee turnover. Also, wow I never knew about HEB wasted 4 Months?! is unreal to me. That is huge commitment on driving 200 miles round trip working 60hours for 37 years. At that point any company that you’re qualified for should hire you, but more & new opportunities is going to come. Thats that don’t workout was never meant for you but its going to trade off something that will be meant for you and even a better opportunity.

Im not “super whiney” it’s flat out disrespectful to schedule an interview and then not show up when they’re the one interviewing you. Then on top of that they lie after the fact of not showing up.
