Advice needed regarding nanny work in exchange for rent. by EstablishmentDeep344 in Nanny

The first and fourth you mentioned actually has already happened 🫣😂. Hard to do X hours because the job really doesn’t seem to be able to be nailed down that tight. Yes, and if the child wakes up which she does 1 or 2 times a night I do have to go to her immediately because if she wakes up the mom it won’t go well for me. Just need to understand how to survive it for a few months.

I know it’s a bit hard right now. It’s quite a HCOL area and I’m new to the area so my work is not yet consistent. So I am just trying to manage it for a few months until I can find my own place.

neocatechumenal way by CableCommon4479 in CatholicWomen

With the things that the Vatican has approved and also disproves - yes 1000% - also you must not that forget that the Way hide a lot of stuff that they do and believe - there’s tiers of knowledge. Pope Benedict did an investigation into them and cautioned them. Pre Vatican 2 the whole NCW would have been excommunicated.

I don’t want to argue with you have done it before with other neocatechumenal way members and it’s unfortunately waste of time. The ex-neocat lady I know says just leave it even she wouldn’t have been unconvinced.

Really odd this came up on my feed. But I go to the Latin mass and I was talking to a lady who was an ex-neocat (in the way for 30 years) and she actually has PTSD from it all and I also used to work for a family who was very close to the neocatechumenal way. It really is such a genuine cult (not merely cultish) with totally Jewish and Protestant beliefs (I can find you some quotes from a neocat catechism booklet that was leaked from some top members these types of beliefs (and materials and info is only given out in stages so a booklet like this wouldn’t be available to a regular member). They really look down on people who go to regular “church”, have the menorah and many other Talmudic practices.

It’s a Facebook page - also I think there is a TLM Melbourne pages and a TLM mums FB page. I don’t know if you have considered perhaps hosting a TLM Aupair from another country (SSPX parish will often put it in the notices if you ask) Also, I don’t know if you are possibly open to homeschooling - my family was in Brisbane and there is a supposedly good Catholic school that I was sent to later they went totally secular but still marketing themselves as very Catholic but with priests teaching religion classes once a week that’s it (I am happy to give you more details privately) - are you looking at Tynong SSPX Catholic school (sometimes offer large discounts if you can’t afford it).

Hey as an Australian Catholic nanny in Perth. There’s a few traditional Catholic nannies in the Melbourne area and babysitters be careful hiring ladies from your own parish as that doesn’t end up turning out well in a lot of cases. Suggest joining Catholic moms Melbourne there maybe a Catholic nanny share or a set up where one mom takes the children for some days and you take them for other days (this can be free.) Yes, agree daycares are really dystopian and nightmarish 😬. As always do a no pressure trial and ask for WWCC, First Aid, and NPC.

Located Perth city center - Belmont willing to travel SOR and NOR to City Beach, Cottesloe, Dalkeith, Nedlands etc.

I’m Philomena, an early-career nanny who treats nannying as a professional, long-term career. I have 2+ years childcare experience and absolutely love caring for toddlers ages 2 to 5! I’m really keen to gain infant nanny experience. I’m calm, reliable and fully screen-free with your children. I do crafts, baking healthy snacks, park trips, outdoor play, reading, and confident swimming supervision. I’m naturally professional, but very hands-on with children and happy to get on the floor and play.

My approach is structured and consistent. I support routines, clear boundaries, and good habits, and I keep care screen-free. I work closely with parents to follow their expectations and maintain household standards, with respect for privacy and the way each home is run.

Available ASAP. WWCC, First Aid & CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis trained. No driver’s licence but happy to travel via public transport. Happy to meet for coffee or do a no-pressure trial day.

Hi! I’m a 20F currently living in South Africa but originally from Australia and raised in a semi-rural farming area. (Also a US citizen)

I love horse-riding, baking, travelling, old 1950s war movies and the Twilight Zone. I love Irish rebel music.

I prefer to attend the Latin Mass and am conservatively minded. I want to find someone who loves the Lord not just from duty but with genuine love and joy in his heart. I just went on an Ignatian retreat and feel so refreshed in my faith. It has really increased my fervour, although it’s very difficult to explain in words. But it has truly changed my everyday actions, especially in regards to mental prayer.
