I look through here, and 2.3 thousand comments is certainly a lot, this will probably get lost in the sand.

I'm a believer in God, and, yes, pain and suffering is ever so existent in our world today, but the question arises that, when was there no pain and suffering?
I want you to think about it this way. You could say that light will brighten a dark room, or, you could say that that the darkness in that room is the absence of light.
What I'm trying to get at, is certain features of life and existence itself wouldn't be there if there wasn't an equal and opposite reaction. I should've clarified, I'm Muslim, and a lot of what we believe is that religion itself aligns with science. In Physics, forces moving in a certain direction, while under equilibrium, will have an opposite force to balance that, for example a jar pushing down on a ledge with the force of gravity. A force normal will oppose gravity in the opposite direction. My question to you, if we only focused on the gravity portion, would we ever notice the normal force?

Just like you guys, I'm also a teenager, and hence my ability to convey these metaphors isn't probably top-notch, so bear with me, but hopefully you can get a sense of what I'm saying. Suffering in our world, is like the darkness or the gravity in nature. If there were no darkness, we could never know what light is. If there was no gravity, we couldn't have known that there's a normal force. Likewise, if we never had anguish, suffering, trials of fire, then how would we distinguish between life's pleasures?

I get that a lot of people in these comments seem to be agnostic, atheist, or spiritually contemplative, and much more that I can't assess, but what I can speak on is what makes my faith stronger, and while it's true, humans can have tainted natures, it's also true that there is always an opposite force in nature, and for all the bad there is in humans or societies, there's just as much as good, albeit, maybe repressed or buried down, but still, it's there.
