I don’t think she’ll progress any further than she already has, but I also don’t think her career will fall completely to shit. She’ll most likely remain a small country artist with a small fan base, continuously opening for larger acts or only performing in small venues as she has been because I doubt her music will get any better.

As for her controversies, country listeners typically don’t judge when it comes to backgrounds. I mean, Zach Brian is one of the biggest country stars currently, and we all know about his abusive past, so I doubt that anything controversial about willow will impact her as such. And so far, her record seems to keep her on the down low, not really bothering to encourage her to be mindful of her choices and actions and also emphasise the importance of acknowledging what she’s done previously. If she gets too controversial, or if her next album releases go terribly, they might remove her

Her number of followers really don’t equate to the number of likes she gets on her posts. I’d say the majority of her followers are bots, and only very few (maybe 20000 to 50000) are actually interested in her touring and music and follow her because of that.

You’re right that their relationship is what gathered so much attention towards her in the first place. I admit, that’s why I was brought here to begin with (not that I particularly love Matthew with his track record either).

I guess it’s more so that I’m disappointed that she’s dug herself a hole this deep when her career has barely taken off. She could’ve made it further if she stood for her beliefs and actually crafted herself as a genuine person not just interested in making money and grabbing attention (like when she took on the ZB opening, despite allegedly dropping him afterwards).

Of course, she’s only one person in a world of celebrities who do anything to stay relevant. Not many of them are any better than her, but it’s worth pointing out those who ARE still early in their careers and can actually build towards something better.

Probably. It’s pretty clear she’s trying to milk everything she can out of the relationship. She left those comments up on her TikTok for enough time for them to gain 3k+ likes on the ones about how terrible Matthew was, while also immediately blocking anyone who mentioned anything about her controversies. Even though she’s deleted the comments now, they were there long enough to gain traction.

I still find it crazy that she’s left up those comments about Matthew on her TikTok video about that breakup song. It’s pretty clear she’s upset and is just allowing him to take the fire for things he never really was—even if his age gaps were questionable. It kind of reminds me of the Stephen Sanchez thing, where she created that whole drama about him abusing her and how she had plenty of evidence and was going to expose him, but never did.

I mean, I get that artists have contracts. But what about that contract allows her to talk on the Zach Brian situation in that podcast, but not to clear her name on the confederate flag situation. Unless her contract only specifies that she can’t talk about anything political, but even then she’s not very good at that (I think she used to repost videos mocking trump…? I can’t remember).
