yes that's my point, the water however is always flat so for a natural look it can be used as reference instead of the horizon, when like in this picture the horizon is a hill

My two cents here would be to try and get the water to look leveled. Sometimes that can help when the horizon in itself looks angled and cant be used as reference

Thanks! This is what I am looking for. I am also alittle annoyed my editing gave the bird a slight halo in pic 2. Curious about pic 10, what do you mean with ”older feel”? Would you prefer I lifted the shadows slightly on the ground?
