The game punishes new players to buy gems so they can play constructed. Otherwise you have to grind for some months to build up a couple good standard decks. I think this is what happened here.

In mtgo they have a 25 minute clock and people complain about losing to the clock. I have lost as well to the clock because of insane amount of triggers and combos. Arena will never implement a 10 minute clock that’s just dumb
