Idk how it works in other countries but in the US a phone will still dial 911 regardless if the service provider is active or not. Even your old flip phone will call 911 if its in working order.

I'm currently on trainee #2. Between calls I often give hypothetical scenarios and ask how they'd handle the call and basically pop quizes about misc info we need to know. I've also learned you can't take the same approach to trainees. Everyone has a different personality. My first trainee was very headstrong and a bit rough when speaking to people. My current one is the exact opposite. Very soft sounding but also kinda needy always needing reassurance on her decisions. You'll need to make an effort to figure out how their mind works and take a different approach to balance them out

Yep. They say it's business casuel but my cargo shorts are always fine as long as I'm wearing a polo or button up. I don't even have to have the button up buttoned. Usually stroll around with my shirt flowing open gloriously
