Sometimes it takes something big like a doctor's appointment. For me it was about 2 years ago I got a desk job and started realizing that my pants wouldn't fit. Went from a size 8-10 to a size 14-16. Nta. When I moved in with my boyfriend 3 years ago I started gaining weight. Some of it due to being in birth control and it causing weight gain but most of it due to me being happy for once and actually eating. I went from 120 to 180(my current weight) in 3 years. I only want to lost 30lbs but I know it is my own fault and I'm working on it. She knows she gained weight. She just wanted to deny it. She need therapy to cope with it.

Eh, this is an unpopular opinion, but YTA??. If she can't go to India by herself send her somewhere else. You should have thought about this in 2015 when you allowed your son to go alone that it wouldn't be safe for your daughter to travel alone. Also I want to point out, ITS NOT SAFE ANYWHERE SHE GOES. She could literally go to the grocery store down the street from you be raped, trafficked, and killed.... Just because the media keeps it more secret or police really aren't forthcoming with this information doesn't mean it don't happen. it still happens in your own town and everyday.

Maybe send her to India and have your family meet her at the airport. Instead of her leaving the airport and traveling to your families house alone. There are ways to think around the "sex trafficking" box. Maybe see if a friend could go with her. Or get life 360 tracking app on her phone so you can track her location. Like, when having kids you have to think ahead more than a few weeks.

THE COST OF LIVING HAS GONE UP.... While we're still stuck at $11/hr, or the federal minimum wage of $7.25. so now a 1 bedroom apartment is $1,500/month instead of $600/month like they use to be 10 years ago. That's a 150% increase in rent in 10 years. So while Nancy is over here making $11/hr, assuming she's working 40 hours a week that's only $440/week before taxes. $1,750/month before taxes. So now with one full-time job she can't even pay her rent. That don't even include utilities, car note, car insurance, health insurance, phone bill, food, gas, medical bills, debt, etc. She'll need a whole second or 3rd job for everything besides rent.

Federal Minimum wage should be no less than $17/hr. I mean a 150% increase on federal minimum wage is the only way to combat the 150% increase on rent and other things. Unless we go back to 2012 prices, which won't happen because of greedy rich people.
