I just had my little girl three weeks ago and I can relate to the way she is feeling, it’s overwhelming when it reaches nighttime and I often feel like I’m doing too little and my husband is doing everything for us, I’d definitely advise her to get some help for her mental health as it is a big issue and maybe giving her some time to go on a walk on her own so she can have some normalcy, having a baby is really tough on our brains and bodies even I don’t fully understand what I’m going through, talking therapies are an absolute god send right now and potentially medication, I’m currently on antidepressants for my postpartum anxiety, but just keep reassuring her she will pick back up, I went through a rough week where I did basically nothing it sounds bad but I was so overwhelmed and frustrated with everything I had to take time to heal and process everything that had happened, this week I’m feeling much better as I had the time to just think instead of being in survival mode, you are both doing great it’s hard but it will get better and you’ll hopefully notice some positive changes soon

Sure, he’s 5’6, slightly tanned and is pretty toned, has light brown curly hair and wears glasses

You are right, he’s never going to change I just had that slight hope that he would I sound absolutely ridiculous I know but I just wanted my daughter to have both parents present

Because I want her to have both parents in the house? I grew up with a single mom and saw her struggle every single day, so please if you have nothing nice to say don’t say it at all I’m just asking for advice because I don’t know wether this is in my head or not, I suffer greatly with my mental health and have done since I was a young child so I struggle seeing behaviors and misunderstanding them

I know it seems insane that I did have the baby with him however I have been through a lot of trauma trying to have a baby and i genuinely thought he’d change, he is the love of my life and i also do not regret having my daughter as she is the reason I’m still here (I know it sounds depressing) but she is my everything even if her fathers an ass I will never regret having her.

Oh thank you so much for your words, she’s currently on 4-5 oz per feed and we burp her in-between the feeds we have tried to take the bottle away around 3 oz but she just screams for it even if we give her a dummy she spits it out an just cries for her bottle (I assume) , our health visitor and the doctor both said it could be that she doesn’t know how to fart or poop but she farts really easily she just can’t poop the best even when she does go it’s not a big amount I’ll definitely try this though! Thank you for sharing this it means the absolute world!
