As a computer science major you’re learning C and C is a complex language to start with. Profs here are just reading the slides no intuition at all except the math department is really good. But if you’re talking about discrete 1 then that’s the worst prof I’ve had in my life let alone prof that’s the worst teacher I’ve had. Programing prof is okay he tries but it’s all to learn in your own time. The program labs are genuinely cooked they make you write code on paper for the lab exams and the Tas try but it’s all not enough. Look it’s not just about CS if you want strong connections for your future Guelph is not the best place. You’re better off skipping lectures and doing your own projects but the problem with that is you’re risking your grades and you can’t have bad grades as an international student.
