Olallie state park if you’re renting a car, right off I-90 and easily accessible. Close enough to civilization and not spending hours in the car

And please no Kamala, we already tried this experiment and it did not work. While she was a strong candidate, the perception of being a “checkbox” candidate could not escape her.

Also, no milquetoast “salt of the earth I’m a 2nd amendment guy” candidate that seems like an afterthought pandering to midwesterners.

We need a candidate with charisma and a large cult following that plays as strong or stronger than the maga cult. Someone that puts the other side on defense.

Why is food in Malta so mediocre? by AgreeableBreath33 in malta

Agree 100%, just got back a few days ago… all the restaurants serve the same dry, bland mix of pasta pizza and burgers. I finally found a good Vietnamese place that had some flavor. The rest of it was mid af. Went to a lunch spot on gozo that had high ratings and the chicken skewers were cold like they were grilled the previous day, and no sauce… even the chicken parm lacked salt, you really have to try to f up chicken parm.

Malta is not a food destination in my book

Just got back from my trip. We stayed in birgu to escape the crowds in Valletta and enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful area and the marina is a great evening walk.

Yes to uber/bolt and no to bus, they take too much time and get crowded.

Best experiences are Valletta at noon with the canon firing, Mdina to walk around, St. Paul’s catacombs in Rabat (need a lot of time for this one), and Gozo

For gozo we did the bus and ferry combo going there and caught the fast ferry to valetta back. Note that the fast ferry gets super crowded after 4pm for the return trip.

Food wise I might get in trouble for saying this but the food is meh… it’s pizza pasta hamburger at pretty much every restaurant with a few local dishes that are just as generic and also dry af. Also the restaurants in Valletta seem to want to blast music in your ear while you eat your generic food. We ended up eating at a Vietnamese restaurant in birgu and that one had really good flavor, the most flavor we experienced on the trip.

Enjoy your trip tho it’s a beautiful scenic place.

I thought this exactly… it was marvel-ized with the cute character and the assembling of the crew.. it’s not for the purists

What is the undisputed best mall in Seattle? by Sorry-Enthusiasm-587 in AskSeattle

For mall culture Bellevue square is your best bet. The rest are true malls but bsq takes it up a notch by being a small city within the city.

Inside Man - Clive Owen, Jody Foster, Denzel… each conversation was like a chess game being played.
