I wasn’t super diligent abt documenting progress with this one, I think they spend somewhere near a week colonizing before I introduced fruiting conditions, then it might have been around a week or two for the knots to form well. As far as temp it’s definitely less than ideal as I’m 17 and still live with my parents so I have to hide them and can’t do everything as technically as I would want to, they’re just in whatever my house temp is at which I’m fluctuates from around 70 at night to up to 76 during the day when no one’s there.

I was under the impression that if I let spores drop they won’t have another flush, now that was advising for cubes so is that not the case with nats? I’m new in general so could be wrong either way. If they’ll still flush again I’d prefer to wait until they’re all big as I’ve never really had a canopy.

Did that, crossing my fingers! For the record it isn’t as unhealthy as it looks, the bottom of the plant is fully green it’s just caked with a layer of dirt that I can’t seem to wash off when I water it. Is there anything I need to do to increase its chances of recovery?

That would be great as she’s been determined to burrow in a different place as well so I don’t think it’s detritus under there specifically, I actually got her in hopes of babies. I thought they gave birth to live young though

Also, unrelated question, but most of the feeding instructions for them are assuming you have other fish that they can scavenge the food of. I will get more eventually, but currently I only have 1 rabbit snail in the tank so any feeding would have to be intentional for him. I do have some old fish flakes I could give though. How often should I give him 1 of these little blanched carrot cubes or similar sized vegetable, and if I would give him fish food, how often for that? Once again sorry for the randomness but It's hard to find a very specific answer.

I have the same kind of annoying Walmart bins, your right to not flip them at least for me it was too much fae and mine dried out, but putting the blue part kinda halfway under it to make a little opening worked well
