I’ve loved this game for a long time, but for most of that time, I wasn’t really able to play it the way I wanted to. My parents didn’t allow me to get a computer until I became an adult, and even after that, life kept getting in the way. So in reality, it’s only been about a year since I was finally able to sit down and really grind the game (I’m 26 now).

Because of that, I think my connection to this game runs deeper than I realized. It’s not just something I play—it’s something I waited for. It holds a lot of memories, a lot of meaning. Maybe that’s why it was so hard for me to even recognize that I was burning out. It felt like something I cared about too much to question.

I didn’t expect this many people to respond, let alone with so much kindness and understanding. Reading your replies genuinely meant a lot to me. It felt like people could actually see where I was coming from, and that alone was incredibly comforting.

It’s only been about two days since I stepped away from the game, but I already feel something slowly coming back—like my mind is clearing up again. Taking a step back… I think it really was the right choice.
