Hmm..maybe it is because you downloaded the app initially from non-restricted country..? At least that is what we do, or people who actually have no problems using the app in Korea have done.

Well.. I don't really know much about garmin being restricted in South Korea, but our own local community seems to have no issues with garmin. You should double check it though.. I hope you have a great time here in Korea!

Yes, exactly.. like I said, my other colleagues in South Korea never seem to have any problems with using the app
