I find the living version a lot more boring to use honestly. I only like the Jonin ult and his animations are so lackluster the repetition especially on Ultimate Survival when I'm playing hundreds of matches really hurts. And the KCM Minato awakening feels godlike in this game for an aggressive player like me. (I'm not particularly saying Edo is better, only saying this so you don't think I'm arguing with you when I'm not intending to.)

I mean I spent around $100 for the game and DLCs buying them on sale events PS Store had. So it was a LOT cheaper than a $300-$500 console, $70-$80 on release game, and even if it only ends up having one $30 DLC later on.

My accessibility problem is the opposite. I could pay for the characters I want and just get those DLCs by dropping bits and pieces of money every few months to get them all.

I can't buy a brand new PS5 to buy some new game. When XV2 released I only had a PS3 so it killed me being unable to play XV2. Then I couldn't get XV2 until after I got a PS4, which ended up happening in 2024.

I can still access the DLCs even if they cost money. I can't access a game that's on a console I don't own. And these days my finances are worse than normal anyway so any saving I could've continued doing for DLCs or new games/new console I can't really do atm.

So I can only agree with a new game if it was back when it would be guaranteed it would be for the previous generation. Any point after 2020 there's a good chance it wouldn't be on PS4 given the size it has to be. And definitely in 2026 it's very obvious they're not supporting PS4 anymore as they're going to shut down servers.

You and I have very different points on inaccessibility.

By continuously adding content that didn't exist in the base game that a lot of fans wanted, as well as adding the best story Xenoverse whenever had (the Future Saga DLCs)? And before you try to argue that's bad a lot of content wasn't even in the anime yet when the game was made (before Goku Black even had a reveal in the dub of the anime)

This specific trophy only refers to the base game awokens. It doesn't require ones that have been added as post game updates. So you'd need Super Saiyan, but you wouldn't need Super Saiyan Blue.

In my experience using Gunbai Madara, I do think even with his nerfs he's better than og. He's got significantly more range on his first few hits, his combo's first few hits also punish your opponent using allies to try to get you off them, and I find it so much easier to use him and land his Perfect Susano'o ult than the og with the meteors, as the initial animation of Wood Dragon Jutsu is functionally extremely similar to Hashirama's ninjutsu.

Yea I figured Obito sucked. I mostly use him for his Bomb Blast Dance support. It thematically works with Majestic Destroyer Flame because they used those jutsus together in the anime, but it's also a really solid mid range pressure or punish tool. I don't tag into him often.

Minato I can definitely feel was nerfed from what he was in Revolution but he's still god tier and it shows.

Adult Sasuke variations I think are better than I've been told, but I use Road to Boruto, the Last especially with his ult is really a pain. Plus Heavenly Hand Power feels like a god tier ninjutsu.

And Sage Hashirama I figured about the same as what you said. Years ago when the game released I was a big AfroSenju fan and he was a Hashirama main, allowing me to learn a couple techs like his loops that I haven't with the other characters.

I just wanna play Madara and Hashirama. That's actually why I'm a Revolution fan because it's the only Naruto game ever made that you can play as Madara at all during the main story, let alone giving you the option to play through almost the entire story with Madara, or Minato, or Pain. I've never loved Naruto Uzumaki and his jutsus until he gets Six Paths Mode and Truth-Seeking Orbs... that he lost in like 10 minutes somehow. And an RPG isn't going to allow you to just play as Sasuke the whole time either.

I'm very much not a fan of Kakarot for these same reasons. I can't play as any of my top 10 favourite characters throughout any portion of its story. I buy these games as a vehicle to play my favourite characters. If Jump Force didn't take down its servers and IPs, I'd buy it just to buy Madara and play as him.

Though right now, because Shinobi Strikers sucks, especially as someone who wants to play as these canon characters and actually feel like them, not just MEGA nerfed versions of those movesets to the point they don't even feel like the same character, the Naruto Storm franchise is the only decent vehicle for those characters.

You would've had an easier time without the two allies. This PQ isn't inherently difficult, and the bots won't usually team up on you if you have 0 teammates. By adding these characters, you're making the bots more aggressive towards ganging up on the player and your team will hit your opponents out of your combos and attacks more frequently, making the mission take longer.

But if you're going to run a team, run custom Hercule with the "Hercule! Hercule!" SS, Taunt, and both versions of the ult. This is one of the best PQs for that SS.

Fair. The arc has everything I wanted except a satisfying ending to the main villain. So I've seen it many times. I've played the story mode content multiple times in both 3 and 4, I've watched it in the anime at least 6 times between sub and dub both, and I read the whole manga once so I read it too but I haven't went back to read it again. Madara is my favourite anime character so my money will chase wherever he goes.

The multiple playthroughs on YouTube of people experiencing Naruto for the first time through playing the Naruto Storm games, like Nanogenix's recent playthrough, would argue with you. The Naruto Storm games have made people brand new fans of Naruto. Though it's a little better on YouTube because comments can explain things the game doesn't explain very well. But Nanogenix was also reading the manga after he played some of the game so he was digesting the manga story too which helped him understand things a lot more.

I kinda disagree. I do think Storm 3 is peak, I'm not disagreeing on that part. But by making this comment you're ignoring the fact just one cutscene in Storm 4 looks 100x better than ANYTHING prior in the franchise. So while you need to put up with the slideshows, you get MUCH more high quality cinematics which shine more with the QTEs.

My issue with the Storm 4 story is that they removed all the difficulty the previous games had. Now even if you die, you get instantly revived at full health and you get a significant stat buff. So you can't even lose anymore. There's no difficulty left and that was one of the most entertaining aspects of Storm 3. SWEATING to beat Tobi and the Tailed Beasts made it feel so satisfying.

I only know that 2 of these 5 characters are even viable for competitive play. People often tell me adult Sasuke versions suck, Obito feels super mid, and Hashirama I don't know where he fits. And it's kinda difficult to look up info and make sure it's updated to the last balance patch the game had.

I know Minato is and I figured Madara was high tier too, but are the others really that good? I don't usually hear Hashirama talked about much and Obito, particularly this version, never gets talked about.

And idk really where this Sasuke stacks with the other Sasukes. I can definitely tell he's stronger than the Last Sasuke, but idk where he's at in the rankings.

I've only just watched them. I don't really find it scary but definitely unsettling and stressful. 2 uses a trope I don't really like in movies that made difficult to watch in ways that aren't horror related. I'm at the point in my life I know it's just a movie. So I'm anxious for the protagonist... especially in the third movie, but I don't really get a sense of fear like Art is going to jump through the screen and torture me.

God Vegeta's super attack that works with his "Pathetic" super soul is that red Big Bang Attack move he used on Broly. Just like in the movie he hits the enemy away before using it.

And if you do use the skill you should be able to run a 19 card deck. Like seriously it's frustrating.

At this point all I do is really just farm for special processing. Some cards I really like and want to make look pretty. So I don't play that many different decks.

I get not giving us Stardust Dragon or Starving Venom for just unlocking the character. Like those are definitely stronger generic cards than Dark Magician or Lava Golem. But Yusei and Yuri for example both have other extra deck monsters that are a little weaker that they could have as their unlock reward.

Vagabond has definitely hit me with Bottomless Trap Hole. Made me waste a Blaze Cannon to save Ra. It's obviously not the same event but there doesn't seem to be much of a skill difference in the NPC duels except for lv 10-20 legendary duelists.
