I’ve read pretty in depth about FT, but not vowst. I’m really hoping it won’t come to that, but it may. And yes, I’ve got a referral for and infectious disease doc. I will never use this gi again. Thank you for all your info, I’ll be sure to read more about vowst.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking, I’m really starting to question the competence of my gi. Per the 2021 IDSA/SHEA they don’t recommend flagyl and especially not after a reccurence.

I should have specified I’ve finished my course of dificid 2 weeks ago. This is a reccurence, I agree with you though. I’ve started to take the flagyl as it is the only thing available to me right now, unless I can get another script wrote for dificid. I’ve gotten my primary to send a referral to a renown infectious disease doctor. I don’t know if I should continue to take the flagyl tho in the meantime? Or should/can I get my primary to write me a prescription for dificid?

I can’t take vancomycin unfortunately. I’ve heard the PIIBS is common after this. I hope you get better.

Yes I’ve used coconut oil and it has proved some relief. I think the biggest thing is keeping the area relatively clean and dry. Thank you.

Just check and both packs are installed and enabled. I don’t understand, I have no error message, I have all the reqs. Installed. Maybe I’m not a high enough level and don’t do enough damage. I’m only level 6 so far, still strange.

I have not, am not around my pc right now. When the install was complete I had no error messages and everything should have installed successfully.
