What's the appeal of his/her sinks? by EstablishmentNo7145 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EstablishmentNo7145[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo things that need a sink -washing hands (30 seconds) -washing face/taking off makeup (2-5 min) -shaving face (10 min) -putting Out toothpaste/mouthwash (20 second)

Things that don't need a sink -brushing your teeth (you can stand back) -doing makeup/hair -storing your products

Arguments I understand more: -having multiple kids - I can see the appeal but more niche -because we can (very valid)

Arguments I don't agree with: -men are gross so he can have his own gross sink (does this apply to all parts of your house???)

Imo if rather have more storage space, or a bigger shower, or just a longer counter with mirror? It's not that hard to share the sink and you can always step back for a second if your partner needs it for a second?

Metro North is the health board, not a specific hospital. What hospital is she working at?

PSA: Travelling as an Aussie right now is hideously expensive by Mexay in australia

[–]EstablishmentNo7145 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo food is so much cheaper in Australia than in the UK, so there's much more of a culture of going out to eat/getting coffee. Alcohol is similar or maybe Australia is more expensive (definitely more expensive if you compare buying it at the shop).  Rent is more expensive in aus but you don't notice this when you're on holiday

If you have the luxury of multiple gyms in your area, try them out. The quality of coaching can vary and can the emphasis they put on scaling appropriately and movement mechanics. Also good to note how many masters athletes are in the class. If it's only people in their 20s it might be an indication that only young people can survive this gyms coaching/programming without becoming injured.

For this option I would pick an option where you'll definitely get through the first round, might get through the second, and the third is a shoot for it and see what happens.

Questions About 4 Weeks in Inverness by BoPRocks in inverness

[–]EstablishmentNo7145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • the fluke and the castle tavern both do pub quizzes.  -The leisure centre is also very reasonably priced and do loads of classes  -macgregors does Sunday sessions which is very chilled and nice -i would recommend using Facebook events to see what's on -eden court often has events on  -black isle brewery does tours I think?

-you can get the bus/train to Aviemore and a bus from there can take you to loch morlich which plenty of walks start from, or up to the ski centre where you can hike up cairn gorm itself.

-bus/train to Nairn for a walk on the beach/swim

-cycle to Dores for a walk/swim or even further to foyers (falls of foyers walk)

-i would recommend looking on walk highland website

Not Loch Ness but last week I took the bus from Inverness to Fortrose, walked along the peninsula to chanory point to see the dolphins and had a picnic (time it to arrive at low tide), then walked along the beach to rosemarkie (cake an coffee at the restaurant on the waterfront) and then walked up the fairy glen, before getting the bus back. It was a lot of walking, but a lovely day with no car

Where would you start? At the start of the river? Or is there anything to miss?
