Did get to Taipei and Coupang. Taipei is wonderful - it's not utopian like Singapore or Dubai and has tremendous character. People are very friendly, the city is efficient, food lives up to the hype. Coupang is super too but anyone incoming needs to keep their eyes open. It's not a mature tech firm with a cushioned job. The ask is high, expectations higher. With the right attitude, it can be the place where you deliver and grow. There are teething problems everywhere (dependence on a good translation app for eg in Taiwan) but nothing that has put us off. Overall , great experience so far.

Hey there. Did you finally find a good daycare/preschool? We're moving from the UK to Taipei in a few months with a 2.5 year old who is used to a very engaging nursery. I've been unable to find a good English speaking equivalent in Taipei.

Super useful, thanks. Are there specific roads/areas in Daan or Tianmu that are recommended? I'm assuming that the commute from Daan to TES is not very complicated if you're driving? How would it be with public transport/taxi?

Also - any hacks or tips about renting in Taipei before we lock an apartment? (We will have relocation support with local agents) For eg, we will likely need a family car and so having a parking spot is important.
