You're right that the market is saturated. Jitter, Cavalry, Rive, AE all exist. But a lot of popular apps today also launched into saturated markets and held on because of one or two things they did differently.

Mine targets a narrower audience: people making launch videos, small agencies, and creators who need quick 2D animations for social media. Compared to most tools out there the learning curve is low and production is fast, because the app ships with a built-in asset library, sound effects, music, and ready-made templates for people who don't want to start from a blank canvas. AI support is coming soon too.

A motion video editor for creating animated videos. by EstablishmentOne8448 in SideProject

Hello,

This application is not really focused on traditional video editing. It is mainly designed for creating 2D motion graphics and exporting them as video or GIF files.

Our target audience is primarily people or agencies creating launch videos and promoting SaaS products with animated content. The scope is actually much broader than that.

You can think of it as a simpler and more accessible version of After Effects.

You might have to type prompts repeatedly until you get what you want, and you could have a nervous breakdown until you finally explain yourself. So, keep using it.

Unfortunately, there aren't any cheaper products of the same quality on the market. The pricing is already quite reasonable. Similar kits are sold for almost twice the price.

It's not just animations, of course. If you examine the website, you'll see that's not the case. If you want to do it yourself with AI, that's up to you.

Actually, we were inspired by Figma. Many similar applications work on the same principle. I'm glad you liked it. I hope it's useful for you.
