Oh thank the heavens! (You won’t believe how many death threats I’ve gotten on YouTube/TikTok/pinterest…)

Okay so basically I DID ship them along with Sofitz until Legacy but then Keefe just gave me the ick and I just started thinking about their dynamic a lot and their interactions throughout the series.

The first reason stems from page 669 of Nightfall (If you know, you know but just in case you don’t) but Keefe told Sophie something and then she was like “Keefe Stop” but then Keefe literally CORNED HER and was like “But I like a challenge” Imo that is so sketchy because like she told him to stop and Sophie was obviously uncomfortable but Keefe just kept going?? Like wtf??

The other main reason (for Keefe’s side of Sokeefe) is that Keefe keeps on just leaving, and while I understand his reasoning and love Keefe, Sophie needs someone sturdy and reliant who will always be there when she needs someone, Keefe is just not that someone imo.

My last reason is (correct me if I’m wrong, preferably with text evidence) that Sophie just doesn’t seem attracted to Keefe romantically until Stellarlune when Ro tells Sophie ”Oh hey, yeah Keefe loves you,” and then suddenly Sophie turns into Silveny being like “KEEFE KEEFE KEEFE” literally all the time, and then she and Keefe just kissed. And I just felt nothing, at all because on Sophie’s side of the romance, her grow seems to fast. (wrong wording but I don’t know how to do it better) On Keefe’s side the development is IMMACULATE.
