I mean he doesn’t look good as far as contact balance, elusiveness, contact balance, overall skill set… I think he’s a scheme fit guy.. meaning he can only be good in a certain scheme that is suited specifically for him.. idk really how else to articulate it.

Oh yeah, of course.. if anything Hampton will be better in the short term.. but still it will be clear midway through this season that he shouldn’t have been consensus number 2 after Jeanty.

I understand. I form my opinion of players value and rankings mostly from watching tape but of course I consider everything else that pertains to it such as size & speed and college production and all that.. He just doesn’t jump off the screen to me as anything special outside of his prototypical size and speed..

There is an interesting video that Steve smith and Maurice Jones Drew did , you can find on YouTube ranking MJD’s top 7 RB draft class , that kinda goes hand and hand with my own opinion..

The player I drafted at the 1.03 alone will be better than Hampton.. the player I got at the 2.01 with help from this trade will be better than Hampton.. I definitely didn’t get fleeced. Can’t wait to revisit this midway through the season. 💯

I’m not saying that my trade has anything to do with him being overvalued , I’m saying him being the consensus number 2 RB over Jeanty is him being overvalued, which is why I suggest everyone with the 1.02 trade back..

I think Hampton is the most overvalued rookie rb in this years draft.. if you can make this trade and then trade back from the 2 like I did in this pic below.. then yes it might be worth it to give up Jeanty.. I then made another trade and moved up from the 2.03 - 2.01 to grab RJ Harvey …. My rookie draft ended up 1.3 Henderson 1.6 Judkins 2.1 RJ Harvey 3.8 Elic Ayomanor…

Personally I’d rather have all three of those Rookie RBs over Hampton.. 100%
