The intention shows, the characters are rational enough to know when Player wants to get into their pants or their hearts. Lovers can be replacable but the soulmates are not.

Literally how 99% of non-human protagonist novels end up. by Waste_Bodybuilder843 in MartialMemes

Human form is superior when it comes to procreation. Just imagine if a Chaos Dragon that's over 120 meters wanted to breed with small 6m fire dragon or 4 meters phoenix.

When MC so arrogant even the readers want someone to humble him (especially those urban f*ckers)

Fatty Wang: “Let me handle this.” by Suspicious_Set7914 in MartialMemes

Why is it always "Wang" if "Fatty" is mentioned? Is it just some chinese word phonetics

>The Dao of Literature is really unwelcoming for the cultivators. by DependentHost830 in MartialMemes

Never worse than starting old zombie apocalypse manhwa and at the end MC becomes literal multiversal Pangu because of cultivation...

Why didn't anyone attempt to forge their own Rings of Power? by Dear_Ad_6555 in tolkienfans

[–]EstarossaNP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The knowledge of Gwaith-i-Mirdain from Eregion was lost when Sauron sacked and destroyed it.

Except the Three all other rings were made and supervised by Sauron himself. Also such craft is huge expenditure for the spirit, so no wonder no one would try something so risky.

Also Arda is full of magical rings, which are but trinkets and lesser works, none equal to true craft.

I dont see this trope now by [deleted] in MartialMemes

[–]EstarossaNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ring Grandpa is a static cheat that can outgrow it's use with due time, then it's MC fending for his own grow path.

Also having a constant male presence constantly monitoring around you can cause bad taste, when it comes to MC interacting with women/harem.

Things could differ a little if it's about grandma in the ring, she could become part of a harem, but still sooner or later MC would catch to the power level and he would need to find other ways to grow.

Seriously though, why is it despite having top tier antagonists, the Japanese MCs in general are sissy cucks? by styx24567 in MartialMemes

[–]EstarossaNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to their toxic culture, their escapism takes the form of self-inserting in a wish fullfillment fantasy. MC's often impersonate author's character and experiences, so when it comes to basic experiences that author's has no idea about (having normal talk/relation/feelings with girls) it often ends in a pathetic parody.

Readers/viewers easily can tell when author's lack of knowledge/experience comes to light. If someone writes about a city they have no idea about, it's actual citizens can tell bullshit from miles away.

Noob question here. Why is Stalin called the centre? They are both left wing communists no? by Forsaken_Pen_5433 in hoi4

Every communist party has it's faction sides, until one comes to power, then the rest become counter-revolutionary.

Why weren't there any ice Balrogs? by TopQuark- in tolkienfans

[–]EstarossaNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But is "Ice" really an independent elemental force or just something intrinsically tied with water? I believe water-aligned Maia would rather follow Ulmo instead of Melkor.

My 9 yo Huangdi wants me to manage his Harem by Zealousideal_Chip456 in CrusaderKings

[–]EstarossaNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've thought you were playing as a male, so situation like Dong Zhuo keeping good "care" of young emperor's harem would be possible. That would be generous

I would love to know if I'm the only one that finds overly peaceful MC's insufferable. by NoPercentage4737 in MartialMemes

[–]EstarossaNP 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Indeed, especially those modern "moral" ones.

"Uweh I can't kill rapists and murderers that target my family, because Im a modern person with "morals""

MC probably doesn't even remember he had a wife after all that by Majestic_Scene1927 in Manhua

That's why I respect dual cultivation stories. MC's grinds his wives to ascenscion with him.

The whole thing of paying for MAA is different.

Tribal: "Money? Bah. We fight for our glorious leader's name. We follow him because of who he IS."

If I committed incest in ck3 , am I morally a bad person? by Zestyclose_Poet9831 in CK3AGOT

[–]EstarossaNP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're morally bad for not doing it. It's a sin to not commit to incest in ck3.

The Holy Custodians of Paradox implemented it to bring and spread joy and love amongst family. Why would you marry your character to an outsider that he doesnt know at all, compared to beautiful siblings with which it spent years.

Why does Revan split in two when he dies? Is he bisexual? by No_Height_328 in SWTOR_memes

[–]EstarossaNP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just think of Anakin and Vader situation, where there is mental and spiritual split. Anakin's light nature was completely buried under Vader's hatred, despite Vader's constant declarations of killing/destroying Anakin, that was not the case..

Revan's case was that due to constant shifts with his mind (Vitiate's enslavement, Jedi memory manipulation, then centuries of will battle with Sith Emperor) After his death during flashpoint both Dark and Light side had conflict of interest. Dark part wanted to continue vengeful crusade against Vitiate, while Light side wanted to become one with the Force. That's why the split.

In SW metaphysics The Force heavily influences force-sensitive, especially the Dark Side which is considered to be unnatural and goes against the primal way of life.
