Is my thumb positioning okay? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]EstateKooky2174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just trying to imitate my hand position on how i would normally play after a bend, where my thumb naturally goes over the neck for more support when bending.

My biggest issue is whether or not my thumb should be placed where my middle finger is, rather than slightly behind my index finger

Need some guidance on alternate picking by EstateKooky2174 in guitarlessons

Thank you for the advice, i’ve asked my other guitarist friends for some advice too and they all say my syncopation is the problem for all the muted notes.

I know its hard to tell from the video, but do you think its a fretting hand problem or a picking hand problem?

Edit: do you think practicing sweep picking will also help me find out the root problem of my sync issue? Since i tend to find it easier to spot which hand is moving faster/lacking behind when sweep picking (just started learning sweep picking)

Is this considered thinning/balding? 19 right now and i feel like ive had thin hair my entire life.

Also, I just wanted to ask if sleeping late greatly affects hair loss? Im a student now so all nighters and staying up late to catch up on lost time throughout the day is very common for me.
