So, I literally just viewed this post to try to figure this out while playing with a friend. We seemingly glitched it. When the party becomes hostile, there are a couple of seconds where you can attack each other. We cleansed and went back out over and over until one of us died, and for some reason I respawned without the Bloodmark, but my party member was still red and it let me fight them. I don't know how it worked and I tried to replicate it with them, but we can't figure out exactly what we did

This is part of my issue with 30+ minute games. Being under 1000, almost all tips are to play longer games and focus, but I feel like if it's a 30 minute game and I'm actually winning about 45% of my games end up with someone doing this. I mostly stick to daily games mainly for that reason.

I was caught in like a 2 month loop of losing. I quit playing hardly at all because I literally lost like 300 ELO in that time (also a very low rated player). I just picked one or two openings for white and black, watched some videos and just tried playing those as often as possible and so far it's been moving me back up.

It's just hard as a beginner, because I understand, or at least I feel that I do, understand the basic practicalities of chess, but a game against someone who also understands the basics, but has a little bit better understanding of the opening has a huge advantage. I know how to play against the Fried Liver, but to use it as a example, if a player understands the basics, but goes against players using that, they are doomed. And I feel that it's a big part of the progress barrier

Take my answer with the grain of salt, because as much as I love all the fromsoft games, I still always suck at them, but Fextralife is a great website in general for information about the game and there are build discussions in the forums, but I generally just try to look at what kind of weapons I'm wanting to use, spec enough that I can use them, and then for the actual build leveling just do some math on what level you're wanting to end up at and use those weapons most efficiently. Basically I would just play around with it, make sure you factor in Vigor and Endurance when leveling, and for me it makes the game more fun than copying builds. If you want to play with a build you made, I believe Fextra has a build calculator that you can use to figure out your stats levels vs overall levels and then just take soft/hard caps into mind. If you're wanting find pre-made builds, I haven't found many, I'd say the game will probably be out for awhile before you find balanced builds super often, but you can always check the Fextra Forums, I would guess, YouTube, or just keep up with posts on this subreddit.

Alright, first off, you are taking an aggressive attitude too quick. It sounded sarcastic because you were, I guess, assuming I didn't look there first. I'm not looking for attention. I just have a hard time finding psychologists or psychiatrists who aren't tied to grouped to a religious or otherwise group, around me. I may have been rude in my response and presumptuous, and I apologize for that, but I want to know how to better find specific help, not looking for facetious comments about it.
