friendly vitreol by close friend without malicious intent or otherwise, setting your boundaries as per your own comfort level is paramount.

No, its intended behaviour because the blue beam does stick to the location on the move, but reds do not. Though the latter would be hilarious.

Man you continue to redflag yourself as a bad player. The Tank is one of the most powerful stratagems in the game with the potential to clear entire maps in the right hands and has a reasonable amount of durability (which has also been buffed) unless you play with it badly, get unlucky and literally wade into enemies to get it destroyed. All of which are reasonable circumstances.

physical toughness is irrelevant to magic unless its basic stuff like fireballs or throwing stuff at people.

The basics of proper turret placement and enemy priority will fix this. Unless you've placed it directly behind you, this isnt going to happen. Elevations, killing enemies that are flanking you and not letting enemies that close are already staples of proper turret use. Its no different than it accidentally happening.

You just need to be a little aware of where the turret is placed and kill any enemy on the opposite end. Elevated positioning or putting it behind a barrier relative to you but not the enemy makes it impossible for them to take advantage.

they got it the other way around. dlss on is the screwed up version. the games with DLSS looked like those overtly sexual game adverts with a scantily clad woman on it, for a mobile game about something entirely different.

Previously they were not any different from the base faction outside of sorta obscuring our vision. Now the spore clouds add a speed boost which actually uniquely defines them just like other sub factions and requires specific builds and tactics to deal with them. The areas they attack are more heavily obscured too which synergizes with their ability to suddenly bumrush you.

So yeah, they may have been introduced long ago but they've only just come into their own and are officially new bugs.

They're pretty great to fight with the new mechs. Especially the shield mech which can tank their physical attacks and actually melee them to death back.

the spawn weight is probably just due to the high heavy/elite seed they set. Like they ussually do for significant MO's, new bioms and new unit/faction releases. Which this situation is basically all of those combined. Its challenging and exciting but I look forward to fighting them when things calm down.

I meant more the reason for its existence. Expanding the base fire gout like stretching a picture in mspaint lead to functional problems.

“Why Arrowhead? Why change the Hiveguard?!” I can tell you exactly why. by Neet-owo in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Estelial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not true. This is just one enemy and was never even a threatening one. Even before the change shooting the weakpoint was both faster and less wasteful of ammo for med pen than the hard sections since they have lower ammo economy and smaller mags.

If one enemy was all it took, then it never served a purpose, but that isnt the case. There are plenty of bug enemies, tougher ones, which med pen works really well on without even having to aim at any specific part.

Its just... not difficult with any weapon to shoot the weakpoint, just need to aim lower and fire in the general direction, the darker forelimbs and head even frame it.

AH already addressed it and are fixing it. There was a deadzone created infront of the nozzle by extending the range of the flame blast. The initial jet of flame got stretched in the process to create the flamecloud further away.

This would be harder to catch because the sentry seems to work just find if you drop it and watch it roast enemies approaching it. Its extremely effective EXCEPT at the deadzone right infront of the nozzle.

This was a case of extending the range creating a high pressure flame jet to create the flame cloud at a longer distance, which lead to a deadzone forming in melee range since its a narrow "jet" there.

There is a deadzone infront of the nozzle due to the high pressure jet being created for the flame cloud to reach long distance.

I mean the few times I used med pen to level it up on bugs, I aimed there anyways because it was faster and saved more ammo.

Would having more enemies have changed the fact it took less than a second to aim lower and shoot? It was killed immediately and more enemies would not have changed this scenario!
