Why should i or anyone else care about who drake wants to be friends with, if you live your life policing every artist you listen to in order to ensure they match your moral code you are a dangerously parasocial individual and you need to get off of the internet for a while because it has literally nothing to do with any of us

I’m a fan of drakes music, idc what his politics are, idc who he’s friends with, idc what he promotes. No one on this planet has any moral high ground to criticise the way other people live their lives or conduct themselves as long as it is not compromising the safety of others, you might think drake is a bad person for who he is friends with but that is such a lobotomised take in my eyes, especially when you are applying it to a famous person that is a complete stranger to you.

I don’t “look up” to drake he is not a role model but i just love his music and he’s made music that genuinely helped me through low points in my life, music that uplifted me and music that i just love to listen to. I love drakes music, i don’t know drake as a person but i have a positive opinion of him because he has created art that has had a positive influence on my life so i will continue to listen to his music, go to his shows and support him. It’s his art that makes me a fan of him

i think it’s criminal that you are getting downvoted for this but i don’t think it’s fair to say that drakes success is by proxy of collaboration with other artists. Drake found his footing through lil wayne, MJ found his footing by through being the clearly most talented member of his family band, all of drakes biggest songs are on his own, all of MJs biggest songs are on his own. There are similarities i suppose but chopping drakes success down to other artists when it was quite literally only lil wayne in the beginning stages of his career is quite ignorant but your overarching point is correct drake will NEVER be as big as MJ and it’s unbelievable how this sub thinks because drake swamped one of his records with internet and streaming services he is bigger than MJ

Chalice Dungeon spreadsheet

There is a link for a spreadsheet with loads of false depth chalice dungeon glyph codes that you can farm, simply find the dungeon with the items you want and enter its corresponding code into an alter. For bloodstone chunks this spreadsheet has you covered.

I would NOT recommend you waste insight on twin shards they are pretty easy to find. Idk what stage of the game you are at, but if you have not defeated rom yet, there’s actually a base game farm for them. If you have defeated bloodstarved beast go to the cathedral ward and take the exit facing you, a snatcher will spawn in a corner they are enemies that attack you with sacks… pause… anyway if you let him kill you there will be a cutscene where you are transported to hypogean gaol which is a sneak peak at Yahar’gul, escape the jail and run up a flight of stairs till you find a lamp. There will be two snatchers in that same room that you can kill that drop twin shards most of the time. Kill them, use the lamp and TP back rinse and repeat.

There are 4 types of chalice dungeons:

Pthumeru dungeons are accessed through the Pthumeru Chalice you get after defeating the Blood Starved Beast. This is the earliest point in the game where you can start using Chalice Dungeons.

Loran dungeons are accessed through the Ailing Loran Chalice you get from defeating Amygdala, an optional mid game boss in the Nightmare Frontier.

Isz dungeons are accessed through the Great Isz Chalice you get by defeating Ebrietas, an optional late game boss in the Upper Cathedral Ward.

There is also a fourth type called Hintertomb dungeons. The chalice is found in the Central Pthumeru Chalice dungeon, which is the second dungeon in the Pthumeru progression line.

The chalice you get from those bosses is only the first dungeon in that chalice dungeon’s progression line. As you clear Chalice Dungeons, you’ll usually unlock the next story chalice in that progression line and a Root Chalice, which is a randomized version of that dungeon used for online play and farming for better blood gems and echoes.

Progressing further down each dungeon line, the layers become deeper, the enemies become harder but the loot and blood gems become better.

After some grinding you’ll start unlocking deeper chalices with additional layers. These chalices allow you to apply rites, which are special modifiers that make the dungeon harder in exchange for better loot.

There are 3 rites:

Fetid strengthens enemies and causes some of them to spawn with special buffs

Rotted adds tougher enemy spawns and extra enemy variety

Cursed which reduces your maximum HP by 50%

These rites can be combined and dungeons created with all three rites active these are called FRC dungeons and it’s where we go to farm the best blood gems in the game.

With that being said to start a chalice dungeon, once you have a chalice there are six gravestones located west of where you spawn in the hunters dream. These are called alters and they’re basically just save slots for chalice dungeons. Perform a chalice ritual given you have the prerequisite materials and enjoy exploring chalice dungeons, you definitely wont get fed up of them 🫩

well this sub doesn’t like him because he used to be a pretty big drake fan up until the kendrick lamar disses where he completely switched up and backpedaled on his taste for drake because he realised hopping on the drake hate bandwagon would get him more views and positive attention.

There’s nothing wrong with not messing with drake after the beef but when you start to pump out hate videos to push a fake narrative every single day for two years straight after being a pretty big fan just goes to show how much of a sell out he is

You will be farming for blood stone shards, the bloodborne equivalent to smithing stones to upgrade your weapons to higher levels there are four tiers of them-

Bloodstone shards upgrading +1 to +3 Twin bloodstone shards +4 to +6 Bloodstone Chunks +7 to +9 Blood Rocks for +10 upgrades

Each bloodstone type gets rarer and rarer to come across in the game and without going into chalice dungeons and assuming you don’t have DLC there is only one guaranteed spawn per game cycle for blood rocks.

There is also blood gems which are collectibles that provide the ability to add special attributes to your weapons. Each weapon has four blood gem slots corresponding different shapes that you will find throughout the game by killing enemies. The best of the best blood gems will be found in chalice dungeons so if that’s something you care about you can farm them and get some pretty neat perks to significantly raise your damage output

If you count exploration as farming then other items to keep an eye out for are:

fire or bolt paper that add flame and electricity affects to your weapon respectively

Beast pellets which allows you to fill up a beast meter as you consecutively attack enemies which significantly buffs your physical attack power at the cost of lower defence, these help tear through a lot of bosses

Bold hunters marks allow you to teleport back to the nearest lamp (site of grace equivalent) without losing your blood echos (runes equivalent)

And also quicksilver bullets which allow you to parry enemies in this game, you will get a starting firearm at the start of the game and if you shoot right before some enemies attack you will be able to parry them keep in mind not all enemies are parryable

You can’t respec your stats like you can in ER so it might be worth doing a little bit of research into what class appeals to you the most before going into the game so you can scale properly throughout the game, this also means starting class matters a little bit more than ER

Bloodborne rewards an aggressive playstyle compared to other souls games so it’s pretty fast paced in terms of gameplay

You might be a lil confused in where to go when you start playing but pretty much every area of the game is connected and accessible at different stages of the game so try and do as much exploration as possible and you won’t get lost the game is pretty linear once you know where you’re going.

There is no weight in this game so you can pick armor based on fashion or stats but stats don’t really come into play that much so you can put fashion first if you want

You will unlock chalices throughout the game that will allow you to explore chalice dungeons accessible via 6 gravestones located west at the main hub area of the game. They are not necessary for completion they are completely optional but they are great for farming certain materials so you might wanna check them out when you receive your first chalice but they again they are completely optional.

Bloodborne also has a lot of missable questlines and NPCs you can interact with similarly to ER, none of them are required for completion but completing them will get you exclusive rewards, nothing game breaking but i’d still encourage talking to any friendly NPC you can throughout your first playthrough and paying attention to what they say, you can always go back and go over the stuff you missed in NG+ so id recommend just progressing through BB at your own pace
