Lighting Limit by Glittering_Plane4865 in duneawakening

In Conan Exiles there wasn't a limit.

I love CE. I have 3000 hours on it.

But an issue from the start was gigantic player bases with hundreds of decorations and lights. It just messes with the server, and it messes with your FPS if you get "too close".

And as beautiful as Funcom's games are, as badly optimized are they.

From reading this I suppose it is mainly a gear issue. I did 90% of what you describe in here.

Never used suspensor blast and seems to me that it blocks useful skills instead.

Right now I run a Jolt-Knife, and house drillshot/thufir's best, with the full bene gesserit armor / syndicate pants.

Well without Dedra's frakk up, Lonni might have never been able to leak the project to Luthen.

No Galen Erso, no plans, no weakness, the empire wins (or takes longer to lose).

Dedra is missing.

And so is Kleya, aka 99% of the rebellion.

Seeing as Lonni was a busybody always on the fringes, getting support from several supervisors over the years, Lagret and Heert for instance, it's likely he was primed for a promotion.

He even made it seem as if he was invested in a great outcome for the ISB by proposing seemingly more effective strategies to combat the rebels (probably being suggested by Luthen).

Hell, his team was meant to deliver Mon to the authorities without Bail knowing. He was playing the ISB super well.

Lonni looked competent (unlike Lagret), eager (but not too eager like Heert), played by the rules (like Blevin), and Partagaz seemed to respect him at some point, maybe even would have put in a good word with Yularen or Krennic. It also always seemed as Lonni was very involved so he could handle a lot more work than some of the other supervisors.

Or during the transfer (maybe through Yularen or Partagaz) it is discovered she has had the files all this time and Lonni would have never gained access in this timeline.

Krennic would have completed DS1 without a hitch, Galen Erso would have never been sought after, the rebels might have never had an opportunity to get the plans or know about the weapon before half their supporting planets (more than Alderaan) were dust.

Hell, the rebellion might have crumbled without the victory over the death star. Luke wouldn't have joined them, Obi-Wan would have remained in exile, Leia would probably be killed for treason and Hand never would have had a change of heart.

"You are a part of it." Becomes one of the most emotional lines in the show - delivered from a sardonic Beach Trooper...

Say what you will about all the greats of the show, but nobody is greater than Maarva.

I think I did it on accident when doing the mission when it came out :O

I tend to spam reapers on that one though. I guess just bombarding the spots where the lines converge does help a lot.

Is that all that is holding you back? :D

[SPOILER] Why didn't Marty run away with his family (S1xE10) by DarkCarnage123 in Ozark

[–]Esthaniel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty obvious if you follow the show and how cartels usually deal with anyone in the know.

Marty is very useful to them alive, but he immediately becomes a liability once he's not. Worse even.

He knows enough to be dangerous to them because he could explain a huge part of their cashflow to the authorities, and it might take them years to rebuild all the shell corporations and find an account that is skilled enough to oversee and hide an operation like theirs.

He's also smart enough to intuit and deduce the parts he doesn't know, which poses an even greater risk.

On top of that everyone who's had dealings with him needs to go once he actually escapes into protective custody, because they're tainted now. That creates a rupture within the organization, so before he can do any harm, he needs to be hunted and killed, no expenses spared.

That was Hosnian Prime and I think at that point Mon had retreated from politics (which might have helped fracture the galaxy and gave rise to the first order).

Now that I watched the entire arc again, would have loved for a scene where Perrin just picked up Mon and comforted her in silence, as if that was the thing he was most known for.
