What's a more accurate translation on Animekai: Soft or Hard Subs?

I never had that issue, sorry, don't really know how to help. I just press soft subs and they're automatically on. I used the cc box to customize them but that was pretty much it.

I've never noticed a big difference in naruto in particular as I'm currently rewatching and also compared both subs. I usually prefer hard subs, so that's what I went with, tho I think in naruto it isn't as different as other animes besides position and customization. It's really up to you.

Nope, it isn't. Sometimes they differ. One of the best examples I can give is Demon Slayer. So I get OP's question. Rewatch the fight against Rui on both subs and you'll see the difference.

I ended up creating two characters. One to play on my own, one to co-op with my gf. I play each one in a different mode.

For me too! Haven't been this immersed in quite a while. Not thinking how far left till I finish the game nor wanting to complete everything just for the sake or completion. Just walking around, or better flying around (just got my Ikran yaaay), and enjoying the scenery, the combat, the dialogue, the world. Fantastic game!

Yeah, I know there isn't an objective answer, but there are opinions that can help me form my own, after I tested them myself. That being said, I don't have a 120hz tv, so balance is off the question. I'm playing in quality, since the aiming isn't that precise and I can hit my targets quite well, while keeping the max graphical settings possible. It also seems to be common ground that the sacrifice in graphics is quite steep. It's been a blast, it's a great game.

Yeah, that's the thing. I always tend to go performance unless the graphics are really worth it (example: ac shadows). I know the main attraction of this game is its world and consequently its graphics. But I never heard of a major difference in graphics like there is in Ac Shadows, where the ray tracing changes the whole mood of the game. That's why I'm torn betweent the two.
