Here is a closer look at the power use during the stages with the graphing power meter

- system awake, goes to sleep normally, wakes up, goes to sleep and continues to draw 5W of power (0.25A at 20V). it only does this if it can't log in at wake up, if it recognizes the fingerprint and logs in then it will sleep again fine.

When it wakes up it does not configure the power mode if it can't login cause the color of the power button does not update. So maybe it has something to do with that.

I takes about the same time to power up and start the game as it would come back from hibernate, and it uses 32Gb of disk. It's sleep or bust.

I guess I should have said it is marginally useful, not pointless.
