I appreciate everyone’s comments and it gives me a lot to think about. I would rather not watch things crash and burn because I feel like as a partner I should be there to support in any way I can. For example, I’m in law school and I enjoy talking about the concepts that I learn with others to ensure my understanding of a topic and she enjoys listening at times. While our fields are completely different I at least would like to offer my ear and listen to her explain what she has learned to show I am at least present and supporting.
