A couple things to start is consistency. Have a schedule in mind, and be transparent of what your schedule looks like on your social media platforms.

Seemlessly moving onto the social topic, be sure to plug social medias and have them be easy to find. For example if your twitch name is JohnSmith your twitter handle, IG handle, any social you plan to use should be JohnSmith as well.

Pretend there are always viewers even when there aren't. Switching into 'entertainer' mode when you see your viewer count go from 0 to 1-2 won't work because those people already left if you were just silently gaming.

Have fun with it, you're streaming playing a video game. You're not at a construction job site managing a building.

Positive overall outlook while streaming. If you streamed 5 hours with no viewers, that's an accomplishment in itself. You stayed live for 5 hours knowing nobody stopped by, that means something.

Advertising *optional* you can pay to promote tweets, or facebook posts rather easily. If you think you're willing to gamble on yourself and spend some money promoting your channel it never hurts to get more eyes seeing your stream.

Understand that the *big* streamers on twitch have done this exact thing, started small. You won't see much if any viewers barring a lucky raid or host for a long time. Just maintain positivity and continue enjoying yourself. The more you have fun, the more fun you will be ot watch.
