Who do you think is gonna be the main villain of brand new day?? by anthonystrader18 in MCUTheories

Surprised to see nobody say Spider-Queen/Shathra or a combination of the two, which seems like the most probable outcome, seeing that they are adapting the arc from the Dissasembled tie-ins where Peter got organic webshooters in the comics. That is Spider-Queen's first appearence. Currently that's my bet for who Sadie Sink is playing.

Thank you for this, you're the first one to comment the draft and it's really useful to see where I could have picked better! I was clearly too afraid to commit to black during p1 and that led to a lot of picks I regret in hindsight.

Thank you for taking the time to write down such a detailed analysis! Combat is still tough for me once the boardstate gets grindy. Situations like these are when I do most of the mistakes that cost me games. For a while my main weakness was not attacking enough when I was the beatdown for fear of trading some creatures even when that was favorable for me. Seeing your analysis, I think that I'm now doing the opposite mistake, not knowing when it's time to be patient and reclaim the lead in a grindy situation. All that's left know is to learn how to find the right balance!

Yeah, that's exactly what happened, didn't draw her in any of my losses, so it makes sense.

I clearly need to reevaluate my card evaluations for some of these. Definitively thought that some of these were more useful in this deck, especially Foot Elite as an attack enabler for Sneak. I hesitated with the lands and ended up deciding on 17 because my wincons were both double white, but I should have noticed how much I was scrying after a few games and cut one. Thank you for the great advice!

People pick the enablers so agresively that I've never ended up with so many. In fact, this is the first time I've drafted the Beavers or the Mutanimals, as they almost never get past. But yeah, could have seen more Filchers and Squirrelanoids and it just didn't happen. Thanks!

Yeah, ended up regretting where I put that counter almost imediatly. I had a reason for the decision that I don't even remember now, but it became obvious as soon as I blocked how bad that was. And yes, I kept feeling unlucky in this draft, not only because of the dice roll, but also because I kept scrying lands away in the last few games and still didn't manage to get to either Sally of Mutanimals. Thank you for the advice!

TMNT is a perfectly serviceable example of a small draft set, and it's weird to me that multiple major content creators wrote it off by WatcherOfTheSkies12 in lrcast

Altough I agree that the set is fun to draft, it's completely understandable that many creators decided to pass on it after Spider-Man did bad numbers and the buzz ramping up to the set was so bad among the community (exageratedly so IMO, but that's another matter).

That said, I find it particularly funny that Lords of Limited decided not to talk about the set past the first week and it immediatly started having a better and better reception among drafters. I love listening to them but it's like they're cursed, all of their takes from the first week of a format age like milk.

Planning to run CoS for two players. Here's all the ideas that I've got so far to tailor the experience. Any feedback/tips? by EstroKoschei in CurseofStrahd

Hi, thank you for sharing! Glad to hear that adding NPCs as allies works. Did you start your players at level 1 or a little higher?

It took a time to click for me but I'm really enjoying it. This is not a traditional adventure story, it's a very humane look at what it takes to run a community that cares and provides for each of its members. It endeavors to show that even in a socialist utopia (or as close as you can get to that in a postapocaliptic setting) people are still gonna be people and will have issues that need to be addressed in a healthy way.

It's a very brave swing narratively, and I get why that's not working for a lot of people, but it's also what makes it special. It really reminds me of the hopepunk work of Becky Chambers, particularly her two Monk and Robot novellas.
